Simulation and Optimalization of traffic for Smart Cities
Petrák, Tomáš ; Burget, Radim (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
The thesis is dealing with traffic management using telemetry networks. The problematic of telemetry networks and multiagent systems. A simulation model is proposed in Java which enables configuration simulation and assessment.
Port of OptaPlanner on Android
David, Tomáš ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with portation of the OptaPlanner tool to the Android operating system. The OptaPlanner is used for solving planning problems and it is completely written in the Java programming language which is also used for application development of the Android operating system. However, Android does not contain all of the Java Standard Edition Application Programming Interface libraries and porting of OptaPlanner to Android thus causes dependency problems. The result of the thesis is solution design and implementation of the problems mentioned above and model Android Vehicle Routing Problem application which uses ported OptaPlanner tool.
Feature extraction from image data
Uher, Václav ; Beneš, Radek (referee) ; Burget, Radim (advisor)
Image processing is one area of signal analysis. This thesis is involved in feature extraction from image data and its implementation using Java programming language. The main contribution of this thesis lies in develop features extractors and their implementation in the program RapidMiner. The result is a robust tool for image analysis. The functionality of each operator is tested on mammogram images. A function model was developed for the removal of artifacts from the mammography images. The success rate of removal is comparable with other similar works. Furthermore, learning algorithms were compared on example detection of ventricle in ultrasound image.
Creating programs for teaching signal and image processing
Novotný, Luděk ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the problém of creating interactive JAVA applets. The practical part of work consist of desing, development and debugging four applets. The first one clearly explains the issue of phasor theory, the second one shows frequency filtering of audio signals, the third one demonstrates artificial coloring of grayscale images and the fourth one creates Huffman code from input text. The theoretical part describes the JAVA language, advantages of applets and theory, which relates to particular applets.
Electric meter simulator with DLMS protocol
Tsymbal, Kateryna ; Gerlich, Tomáš (referee) ; Lieskovan, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on getting acquainted with the DLMS/COSEM protocol and its functions. Furthermore, the Java programming language and the Raspberry Pi minicomputer are briefly introduced. The DLMS/COSEM protocol is used to simulate measurements using a smart meter, which ensures communication between the meter simulator and the concentrator. Communication provided by the DLMS/COSEM protocol is widely used in smart grids. The first part of the thesis discusses important information about energy networks and their relationship with smart meters, the importance of smart meters in modern networks and the role of smart networks, which are used for effective energy measurement in a particular area (e.g. for measuring electricity). Data measured in smart grids can be easily analyzed and used to make consumption more effective. The first part also mentions important information about the DLMS/COSEM protocol, the Java programming language and the Raspberry Pi minicomputer. In the second part of the thesis, a test environment is created for testing the smart meter simulator, which communicates using the DLMS/COSEM protocol with the concentrator and transmits the measured values to it. Measured values are manually defined for testing purposes using code changes in the Eclipse IDE. The aim of the work was to create a smart meter simulator that lists predefined values and passes them to the concentrator, which was achieved using the Gurux.DLMS library. Finally, an analysis of this communication was performed using Wireshark. This bachelor thesis is useful for a simple understanding of the DLMS/COSEM protocol and its use in smart grids.
Multi-Agent Systems for Social Network Modelling
Lelkes, Gábor ; Král, Jiří (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis introduces the reader to topics of social networks and multi-agent systems. It's goal is to describe design and implementation of a functional model of social network as a multi-agent system built on Jason framework, and, in the end evaluate this effort.
WordNet Database User Interface Innovation
Kopřiva, Adam ; Jaša, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This thesis considers innovations of graphical user interface for JWord 3.0. It's a program, which works with electronic lexical database of English - WordNet. The words in this database aren't sorted in the alphabetical order like in usual dictionaries, but they are grouped to synonymic groups. These groups are then connected with different semantic relations. During the implementation design I have focused mainly on the speed of searching for informations about the entered word. This lead to the change of searching engine from searching in files to querying database. The resulting program is composed of two parts - program and graphical user interface. Program interface works with MySQL WordNet 3.0 database. User interface then shows meanings of the entered word and relations to other words (synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms, hypernyms).
Secure data transfer between multiplatform database servers
Navrátil, Jiří ; Janovič, Filip (referee) ; Lattenberg, Ivo (advisor)
This work deals with options of servers synchronization, possibilities of communication among client applications and database server. It also sets up solution using the application server and demonstrates its realization in common development environment.
Java EE Organizer
Černý, Petr ; Martinek, David (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with applications for organization of time and contacts. It includes analysis of existing solutions, used architectures and brief characteristics of existing applications. Thesis also deals with developing a client application for Java EE applications, and discusses the basic technologies that are used in this eld (Swing, Java EE platform and its technologies). The practical part includes design and implementation of modules for managing contacts and tasks, which are incorporated into the demo application Java EE Organizer.
Design and Creation of Proxy for Penetration Testing
Válka, Michal ; Bláha, Lukáš (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis is aimed at design and development of proxy for penetration testing. The thesis is divided into three main parts and begins with a theoretical part, which is focused on fundamental technologies and principles on which the application is based. The second part is focused on comparison of currently available solutions. The third part contains the creation of the proxy itself. The last chapter contains a summary of this thesis and the benefits of the developed product for penetration testing.
