The thesis deals with the research of plants growing in tram tracks. There were selected 5 cities for this research – Brno, Olomouc, Ostrava, Plzeň and Praha. Lists of species and character of tracks were recorded on stops and between them. There were 200 species found in total. 103 of them were native to the Czech Republic. The most frequent ones were for example prostrate knotweed (Polygonum aviculare agg.), wall barley (Hordeum murinum), groundsel (Senecio vulgaris) and prickly lettuce (Lactuca serriola). There were also found 7 endangered species – for example salt sandspurry (Spergularia marina). Statistical analysis also discovered that there was a difference between the flora of particual cities. In every city except Praha there were species typical for the city. For example, buck's-horn plantain (Plantago coronopus) in Plzeň.

Development of selected invasive species and meadow vegetation classification algorithm in the Krkonoše Mountains using hyperspectral data Abstract The thesis deals with utilization of airbone APEX hyperspectral image data for selected invasive species and meadow vegetation classification in the study area of the Krkonoše Mountains National Park. The mian goal of the thesis was to develop of classification algorithm based on proposed vegetation indices. The approach was based on the utilization of in-situ LAI, fAPAR, chlorophyll content data and analysis of their relation with vegetation spectral properties. The work also deals with several problems regarding LAI - vegetation indices relationship, namely saturation of LAI and mutual correlation of LAI and chlorophyll content. Tha classification was focued on invasive species Rumex alpinus and Lupinus polyphyllus, meadow vegetation with dominant Nardus stricta and dominant Trisetum flavescens and cutted lawns. Besides the proposed approach, the presented work resulted in several classification maps of study area and in spectral libraries, containing ground level spectra of studied invasive species, meadow vegetation types and several other meadow species. Vegetation regeneration after removal of invasive plants

Invasive plants change local diversity and abundance of native plant species in the invaded area. However, changes are not visible only in vegetation, but also on single levels of abiotic and biotic characteristics of the invaded area. The aim of the thesis is not only to summarize current knowledge about the impact of invasive plants on vegetation, but also point out possible recovery of the vegetation and the direction of its succession after the removal of invasive plants. I present factors which limit the recovery of vegetation and types of management used for control of invasive species. I also describe biology, ecology and invasive history of fringed willowherb (Epilobium ciliatum spp. adenocaulon) which I want to use as a model plant for my future thesis. Finally, I mention experimental methods that are used for studying regeneration of invaded areas and the possibility of using invasive plants for regeneration of degraded soils.

Food preferences of land snails in a river flood-plain invoved with invasive plants

Food preferences to five most widespread invasive plant species from river floodplains: Impatiens glandulifera, Helianthus tuberosus, Fallopia japonica, F. sachalinensis a F.x bohemica and one native species - U. dioica were studied on two common land snail species. Using three different methods I tried to recognize, whether or not these plants serve as a food source to Succinea putris and Urticicola umbrosus. From histological sectionsit was impossible to identify the plants. The majority of plants don`t provide structures usable for identification of plant in the snail maces. I was able to identify only H. tuberosus and U. dioica undoubtedly, thanks to trichomes. According to the results of laboratory tests, the most important factors for snails food preferences are plant species and the condition of plant material. U. umbrosus consumed much less fresh material than S. putris. Consumption of frozen leaves became larger for both species. The most preffered plant species were U. dioica and H. tuberosus. Only frozen I. glandulifera was consumed. Fallopia spp. were rejected both, fresh or frozen.
Occurrence of invasive species Eragrostis albensis in Prague and its surroundings

Eragrostis albensis is an invasive weed. For invasive species it is typical that they are easily spread in to all manner of localities. Eragrostis albensis is recently described species, which spreads along the Elbe and the Vltava river. The purpose of this bachelor thesis was to find new places of occurrence in Prague and its surrounds and especially around the Vltava river. There were found a few locations where the occurrence of Eragrostis albensis was confirmed and these areas were always ruderal. At most of the areas there were maximum 3 plants. Only in one locality there were over 70 plants of Eragrostis albensis (locality Dvořákovo nábřeží). This invasive weed has wide ecological amplitude, it occurs especially on embankment nearby river, but it can also grow on pavements affected by dry. This species well tolerate disturbed areas and floods can help this weed to create new suitable locations. According to this monitoring it´s obvious, that Eragrostis albensis is a part of some ruderal districts in Prague.
