Artrosis of knee joint

Title: Movement as a prevention of arthritis of the knee joint Objectives: The aim of my work is to sum up all the available facts concerning the problems related to arthritis of the knee joint and, on the basis of the results of the literature search, to make a recommendation of a training programme for its prevention. The intended objective is to focus on the causes of its formation and development and to use this knowledge in the suggestion of the training programme which could help to prevent or delay the onset and reduce the progression of this disease. Methods: For the Bachelor work I will be collecting, sorting and organising all my information. As a result of this examination of literature I will achieve my intended goal for this Bachelor work. Results: I found out that we cannot cure arthritis of the knee joint, we can only reduce its development and final results. The most important part is the prevention, which includes daily functional exercise and specially designed programmes. Developed muscles stabilise the knee joint and therefore intelligently planned daily activity is important for the construction of an intact knee joint which is needed to ensure safe operation in many sports and even in our daily activities. Health Education in Adequate Psysical Exercise Regimen for Women in Menopause

In today's society youth, beauty and performance are considered to be the most important. At the same time, a modern woman spends up to one third of her life with a lack of sex hormones. Menopause brings a number of changes in both physical and psychological ways. This involution process is irreversible, however health education through an educational programme of comprehensive approach of Pilates can help these women to ease acceptance of this life phase. For this work I used DVD materials I've already developed for my previous work Pilates Method for the Senior Population and I also created a new challenging educational programme. Comparison of interventionist, motion and rehabilitation method in Pilates and yoga by mentally disabled children aged 8-15 years.

Bachelor´s work deals with a comparison of the intervention kinetic and rehabilitation method of Pilates and yoga and its´ influence on 8-15 years old children with mental disability. Dur?ing all the period, an influence of these kinetic activities on the health and value orientation of the proband was observed. The aim of the work was the creation of kinetic program focused on mental disabled children, where for one proband group the Pilates kinetic method was ap?plied and for the second group yoga exercises were applied. To accomplish this aim, a period of three months was set for the application of formerly prepared program. On the basis of achieved findings and measured results, two basic suppositions were affirmed: both, the Pi-late?s kinetic methods and yoga affected positively the health of the proband and further-more, an improvement of the personality value orientation of examined individual occurred.
Intervention motion program in the elderly living in homes for the elderly.

The objective of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the health condition parameters and value ladders of senior citizens participating in the intervention mobility program and to assess the impact of adequate physical activity on their general wellness and value orientation. The opening chapter of the bachelor thesis deals with the general problems of aging and old age, elaborating on the individual concepts and contingencies that invariably accompany these issues. The next part of the thesis details certain relevant facts about homes for the elderly, comparing care for the elderly in the past and today. Furthermore, the first part of the thesis focuses on intervention mobility programs, describing what these programs are about, what is considered adequate physical activity, and what role the retention of mobility plays in the life of the elderly in general. The second part of the bachelor thesis concentrates on processing the concrete data and results acquired in the course of the intervention mobility program organized in a home for the elderly. Upon completing the intervention mobility program, we can say that the program did have positive effects, but not in all of the parameters measured. In other words, while certain health condition parameters and value orientation parameters did reach the desired results, others recorded practically no improvement at al.
Intervention motion children's program with auditory and mental disability for the age range from 8 to 15 years

These bachelor thesis deal with the Intervention motion program for children from the age of 8 to 15 years, affected by the mental and hearing disability. The experimental phase of thesis was oriented towards motional activities and their influence on selected individuals as well as the value orientation of the specific personality. The main work objective was to prepare special motional training program, created on psychomotor basis, for children affected by mental disability. For the experimentation in area of hearing disability, psychomotor games were used as supplement activities only. Three months training period was proposed in order to fulfill all program tasks. Thanks to the experimentation inside this area and the comparison of measured results we can support the following statements: the motional activity has the positive influence on health of selected sample of probands; by the realization of well prepared training program one can increase the value personal orientation of specific individual.
Adequate Exercise Regime for Seniors Using Pilates Methods

The demographic composition of the population is currently changing. The amount of economically inactive inhabitants is increasing, especially the older them 60. An aging population is not only the economic-social problem, its also the issue of society?s attitude as a whole towards these individuals. The involutional process is irreversible, but it is important to support senior?s activities toward encouragement more active lifestyle. To build up a comprehensive fitness of aging population, we can use many different strategies to help us with fulfilling the needs of seniors. One of the possible ways is to use Pilates Method for seniors. Exercising seniors into three groups according to their abilities and skills and I developed for them an exercising scheme. The practical part includes elaborated individual exercises in different options according to each participants personal capabilities. This whole scheme is also presented in a picture and sound on tutorial DVD. In the research part I studied the influence of regular Pilates Method exercise at each of the seniors groups.
The benefit of yoga on personality and health of a child with mental disability.

The bachelor thesis is focused on a theme of mental handicap in general and especially, in connection with physic activities and yoga. The aim of this thesis is validation of beneficial impact of yoga on personality and health of a child with low mental disability. To reach the stake-out aim, I create new physical intervention program based on yoga. It´s a part of practical part of the thesis. I applied it on selected group of 10 probands with low mental disability in one three- month cycle. Physiological parameters, behavioral features on maladaptive scale and standartized test of social competence was realized before and after the cycle. On the basis of the results, I conclude the beneficial impact of yoga was proved.
Influence bath treatment on obesity children

This baccalaureate work is bent on influence bath treatment on obesity children with a view to for - set in childish medical institution in Poděbrady. Theoretic part deal with excess luggage plus obesity man with more detailed focus on children plus adolescent. In experimental parts was effected anthropometric metering at the beginning plus at the end medical cure in phase October 2010 as far as February 2011. Experimental cope take part in 39 for - set of both sexes in 5- 6 weekly medical cure.
The health and social incidences of obesity in the second school and their remedy by the help of support active program

This work deals with health and social impacts on overweight and obesity among second year students in secondary schools and their remedy by means of support active program. To determine the prevalence of overweight and obesity was used the BMI values, waist girths, caliper, values of the bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA). 336 students was participated in this research and 117 students underwent anthropometric measurements. From all measured were selected 31 students with excessive body weight. Seventeen of them was included in the group Experimental (ES) and fourteen in the group Control (KS). The Experimental group was subsequently administered the intervention active program aimed at reducing body weight and positive effect on health, psychological and social parameters. Investigation was carried out from October 2005 to December 2005.
Check on effect interventional kinetic programme on development personalities with mental handicap in Constitution social care Slatiňany

Bachelor thesis in its theoretical level deals with the theme of mental disability in general, closely related to the motion activities. The practical part was already tested an interventional kinetic programme designed for people with this form of disability. It was applied to a group of clients of the Constitution social care, the moderate degree of mental disability, for sixteen weeks, and its effect then qualitatively evaluated according to the results of tests kinetic and social skills. Based on these indicators was confirmed by a positive effect this programme on development personalities with mental handicap as well as the possibility of its realization in terms of the Constitution social care.
