Potratová politika a její vliv na demografické ukazatele a situaci ve vybraných státech Latinské Ameriky

This diploma thesis focuses on the topic of Abortion Policy and its influence on demographic indicators in selected Latin American countries. The goal is to find out what effect the legislation has on the demographic indicators that are related to abortion. The literary research focuses on the development of the feminist movement and the issue of access to abortion in the world. Also, the problems of illegal abortions, different perspectives on abortion and finally the demographic indicators themselves affected by legislative interventions in access to abortions. Three Latin America countries, Argentina, Uruguay, and Ecuador are the subject of the study, because each of the mentioned countries had a unique way to current state of legislation. The thesis uses regression and correlation Analysis for five demographic indicators. These are abortion rate, birth rate and neonatal, infant, and maternal mortality. The results show that the resulting dependence is the same and significant in all states regardless of the state of legislation. The change in demographic indicators is visible to all, regardless of the degree of abortion restriction. Fear of a demographic change in the Population from the results is not a reason for further prohibition of abortion.

Protection of a human foetus The aim of this thesis is to deal with the protection of the human foetus in the scope of the Czech legal environment as well as in the relation with the international law. The work provides the insight into the specific law areas as constitutional law, criminal law and also private law and deals with the specific rules contended in the single act as the Interruption of the pregnancy act and the new Specific medical services act. The substantial part of the legal discussion is supported by examination of the decisions of the courts both international and national which reflect the protection of human foetus. The thesis focuses on the protection of human foetus in its complexity and shall provide the comparative material which compares the protection of the human foetus within the specific law disciplines. The analysis of single legal problems and issues of the protection of the human foetus is not exhaustive and focuses on the protection and state of the human foetus in specific statutes. The protection of the human foetus represents quite discussable issue which provides a large number of questions to be answered and leads to the discussions which are reflected in this work. Abortion laws in Czechoslovakia in 1950-1986

This diploma thesis analyses the legislation governing interruptions in Czechoslovakia in the time frame between 1950 and 1986 when this legislation went through many changes. The thesis studies consequences of these changes, their influence on the population in Czechoslovakia and even opinions of its inhabitants living in above mentioned time period. The thesis focuses also on so called "interruption commission"; institutions of former Czechoslovakia, which used to decide about the future of unwanted pregnancies. One part of this diploma thesis is also dedicated to the development and accessibility of contraceptives, which were directly influenced by the legislation.

Interruption of Speech during Debate in Selected Parliamentary Chambers: Study 1.165

Právo na vystoupení poslance v parlamentní rozpravě je jednou z nejdůležitějších součástí mandátu poslance. Navazuje na základní parlamentní privilegium poslance „freedom of speech“. Z tohoto důvodu se přerušení vystoupení poslance v rozpravě zásadně nepřipouští, pokud poslanec dodržuje předem daná pravidla jednání. Předseda (předsedající) je osobou, která vykládá jednací řád, řídí jednání a volá poslance k pořádku, pokud se vyskytují nepořádky v komoře (včetně nepořádků při vystoupení poslance). V naprosté většině parlamentů není možno projev poslance, který neporušuje daná pravidla jednání, nijak přerušit (a to ani předsedajícím). Výjimku tvoří v části parlamentních komor procedurální návrhy a výzvy k pořádku (call to order). V rámci výzvy k pořádku se povoluje přerušení i v případě odchýlení se od bodu nebo opakování se. V několika parlamentních komorách je možné přerušení vystoupení se souhlasem poslance, který má projev. Právo poslance na nepřerušený projev v rozpravě je zneužíváno k parlamentním obstrukcím, které jsou po mnohá desetiletí (či v některých státech staletí) legitimní součástí parlamentního jednání. Název filibuster označuje obstrukci, užívanou menšinou vůči většině, pomocí níž se zdržuje přijetí rozhodnutí (je používáno zejména v Austrálii a Senátu USA). Obstrukce jsou považovány za část parlamentní demokracie. V některých státech je jim podrobnými předpisy zabraňováno (například stanovením hodiny, do které je možno večer jednat a hlasovat).

Opinions of the students of the South Bohemia university about selected ethical problems of the health care

This Bachelor thesis is focused on ethical issues in medicine, namely in communication between physician and patient, further on euthanasia, interruption and transplantation. This work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part introduces the theme of the thesis. It provides the basic information about ethics, about the relationship between physician and patient and their communication, about patient´s rights, about euthanasia, interruption and transplantation, too. The practical part reflects opinions of the students of the South Bohemia university in České Budějovice of these ethical matters. The analysis is based on quantitative research, which was performed by anonymous questionnaire in electronic form. The obtained data are processed in tabular and graphic forms.

Role of Conscience in the Post Abortion Syndrome

The diploma thesis deals with the connection between human conscience and the Post Abortion Syndrome that is described in selected sources. The aim is an analysis of the role of the conscience in Post Abortive Syndrome. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with the concept of conscience and its value in our lives as well as the question of when and how our conscience affects our behaviour. The next text focuses on the connection of our conscience and actions as well as our decision making. This connection is described from philosophical, theological and psychological points of view. The second chapter focuses on abortion and the difference between miscarriage and abortion. Furthermore, the reasons for undergoing abortion, methods of abortion, and possible consequences are described. The third chapter deals with the Post Abortion Syndrome, its definition and symptoms, and information how to help affected women. In the last chapter are summarized the information and is presented the connection between conscience and Post Abortive Syndrome. The information from primary and secondary sources is supplemented with interviews with professional who come in touch with women affected by the Post Abortive Syndrome. These interviews are very valuable for deeper insight.

Induced abortions in the years 1958-2012 in the Czech Republic

The objective of the thesis primarily is to describe the history and development of the issue of abortion in relation to the various changes that the population of communities have passedthrough and determine whether legislative changes concerning abortion affect abortion indicators. Furthermore, the work focuses on the development of abortion in the Czech Republic in 1958 - 2012.This thesis examines in detail on the development of abortion legislation in Czechoslovakia and later in the Czech Republic and on the basis of these legislative changes values examines the link abortion with indicators made legislative changes. In the context of abortion among other things, analyzes the total fertility rate, total abortion rate, abortion rate of women according to their age, abortion by territorial differentiation and other indicators influencing the number of abortions in the Czech Republic.
