Smart home based on Loxone
Karnatov, Vitalij ; Cejpek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dosoudilová, Monika (advisor)
In this thesis, the issue of intelligent home was addressed. The aim of the work was to describe and explain the concept of smart home, to conduct a research of available systems on our market and to describe the principles and functioning of smart home through the Loxone system. Furthermore, the thesis describes the design and implementation of a intelligent home through the Loxone system and its configuration in the Loxone Config software. The thesis marginally discusses the communication protocols used by smart home systems, the historical development and compares intelligent and conventional home.
Remote Control for Home Automation
Polgár, Václav ; Kočí, Radek (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with design and implementation of system for remote control of home appliances. The resulting control system involves the simple application that uses Bluetooth wireless technology to communicate with hardware components which can operate the appliances working on the infra principle.
Design of intelligent building with modern system Ego- n
Kočí, Martin ; Šlezingr, Jan (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
The thesis resolves an electro-installation project for an intelligent home. The system chosen is the Ego-n modern electro-installation system, a product of ABB, s.r.o. which is generally available on the market in the Czech Republic and in Slovakia. In the first part of the thesis the difference between a conventional and an intelligent electro-installation is described, and the basic principles of the Ego-n system are formulated together with the range of use. Also included is a brief profile of the basic components and for some of them specific options for configuration and operation in practice. The work also describes the principal advantages and disadvantages of the Ego-n system, especially from the point of view of the user of the building. The reference to communication in busbar intelligent electro-installations is conceived as an overview, designed to give a general idea of busbar processes. The majority of the thesis is aimed at a practical design of an intelligent electro-installation in a specific building. Apart from the text where the project is briefly described and explained, all the technical documentation necessary for the realisation of the building is produced in the appendices: a ground plan drawing with the electro-installation components plotted in, together with drawings of the switchboards. The project also includes a budget and breakdown of materials.
Framework for Testing of Mobile Application Implementing Intelligent Home Control
Kůrová, Martina ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Žádník, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with testing of mobile application implementing inteligent home remote control developed under the project Internet of Things at FIT BUT. The main goal is to create sets of automated test scenarios to verify correct functionality of the application with the intention to increase its stability. The first part presents inteligent home architecture, further continues a theoretical overview of operating system Android and testing of mobile applications with the Android operating system. Other parts are devoted to describing an implementation of the proposed method for testing of the application. Conclusion stated assess the quality of developed tests and evaluation of their results.
Design of application of radio-frequency control system Xcomfort in modern building
Marek, Jan ; Pěcha, Jiří (referee) ; Bátora, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on a reconstruction of an electro-installation used in a family house and an implementation of a radio frequency system xComfort for an intelligent electro-installation produced by Eaton company. This system was chosen due to customer´s request and also for its easy service. The first part of the thesis describes a history of an intelligent electro-installation with a description of a radio frequency system including its basic components. Next, there is an overview and basic characteristics of other producers´ systems and also their comparison. The thesis also provides main features of bus systems and a difference between the used radio-frequency system xComfort compared with a bus system. The advantages and disadvantages between the bus bar system and the radio frequency system are clearly described there. The major part of this work is focused on a practical design of the intelligent electro-installation in a specific object. In the appendix there is a technical documentation needed for the realisation of the building. This documentation includes a layout of used components controlling lights, Venetian blinds, heating and line schemes of switchboards. The design also includes a program that controls individual components formed by a software Eaton RF-System.
Emulator for Intelligent Home End Stations
Brychtová, Hana ; Viktorin, Jan (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis covers design and implementation of an application with a graphic user interface emulating the behaviour of end stations for intelligent home. These devices are used for measuring physical quantities and controlling switches. The application is implemented in C++ using Qt Framework. The final product is an application which provides a simple way of testing in a friendly user interface. The main benefit is in enabling a parallel developement of the server application and the developement of the hardware end station devices.
Lighting control system using a wireless communication network
Levek, Vladimír ; Kadlec, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create and describe the wireless system for lighting control. A part of the work is the creation of modules for switching lighting and the creation of their operating programs. The first chapter briefly describes the way how the lighting control works and contains general requirements for the intelligent home. Further, there is a description of IQRF system, which serves as a wireless platform for the system. Next part of the thesis describes individual modules in terms of hardware and software. One part of the work covers the description of the transmission protocol. The attachment includes a listing of all operating programs for this wireless control system.
Universal Communication Center for the Smart Home based on Platform OpenHAB
Veselka, Jan ; Lattenberg, Ivo (referee) ; Kováč, Dominik (advisor)
In households is increasing number of electronic peripheries. It is therefore appropriate to control these peripheries remotely, with comfort, for example by smart phone. This thesis focuses on opportunity to control every single element of household by OpenHAB (Open Home Automation Bus). In this thesis is gradually explained which architecture OpenHAB have and it's described individual elements of this architecture. Second part of this thesis deal with configuration of OpenHAB. Specifically with syntax of individual files and acquaint user with development environment. Third part of thesis is focused on already set bindings between system OpenHAB and peripheries. Fourt part focuses on device Raspberry Pi and opportunity to use it as a server for OpenHAB. In conclusion are given instructions for launching this system on Raspberry Pi and a example of following configuration with use of elements and sensors from Homematic.
Emulator for Intelligent Home End Stations
Šutovský, Filip ; Košař, Vlastimil (referee) ; Korček, Pavol (advisor)
This thesis deals with design and implementation of an application emulating end stations in intelligent home system, which are used to measure physical quantities and interact with switches. Application has a comprehensive graphical user interface developed in programming language Java, which allows testing of other system layers and recording of statistical data about emulation contributing to system analysis.
Using Sensor Data to Derive Environment State
Sakin, Martin ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Viktorin, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the analysis, description and usage of sensor data from an intelligent home system. This term also describes the intelligent system BeeeOn, which provides a sensor data and the possibility of extending this system to automation tasks. This is followed by the analysis of all the measured physical quantities, their properties and their influence on humans. The results from the measured data were used to create a classifier based on deep neural networks to detect current events at home. Detected events can be used for the following automation system to help improve living conditions. At the end of this thesis are discussed the results and options to continue with this project.
