Collection of measurement and control data of the office building
Fučela, Peter ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The thesis acquaints the reader with the matter of data collection from the measurement and control systems of a smart building. The first chapter describes the individual levels of devices in the system, the way in which the devices communicate with each other, and the database in which the data is stored. The chapter also presents a database model, which is used to store the data from the building Technická 12. The second part introduces the software COACH AX, which is used to develop control applications for measurement and control systems. The subsequent chapter proposes a procedure for creating a simulation model of an heat exchanger station and floor convectors installed in the building Technická 12. The last part is devoted to describing the created visualization, which is used to monitor and control the simulation.
Intelligent Building Design with the PARADOX System
Pilát, Vladimír ; Sedlák, Petr (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
The bachelor thesis describes a proposal of intelligent house with PARADOX system. It analyses the present state of house infrastructure and suggests appropriate and economical solutions. The goal of thesis is show possibilities of DIGIPLEX EVO system and intelligent building design with DIGIPLEX EVO system.
Civic amenities building
Zachar, Dominik ; Pilný, Ondřej (referee) ; Berková, Petra (advisor)
The aim of master´s project is to design a new civic amenity building. The chosen type of building is a cinema in cadastral area Strážnice. It is a three-storey building with a walkable roof. On the first floor there are 2 cinema hall, bufet, canteen, storerooms and sanitary facilities. On the second and third floor there are sound room, projection room sanitary facilities and air conditioning engine room. On the roof there are terrace with cafe bar. The vertical loadbearing structures are designed from reinforced concrete in all storeys. The building is insulated by a contact thermal insulation system. The horizontal loadbearing structures are designed from prestressed spiroll panels. The staircase are designed from reinforced monolithic/cast-in-place concrete slab. The flat roof consists of a flat roof with extensive greenery and a terrace. Building is heated by stationary gas condensing boiler. Ventilated by air handling unit and cooling by outdoor cooling unit. Artificial lighting will be provided by dimmable LED lights. Rainwater will be collected in a tank and reused. On the flat roof is situated photovoltaic system. The spatial acoustics were designed so that the calculation of the reverberation time in the room meets the requirements of applicable standards and regulations.
Kindergarten
Hess, Samuel ; Jelínek, Petr (referee) ; Struhala, Karel (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with the design of an NZEB kindergarten in Třebíč. The building is single-storey with a flat roof. Next to the building there are 15 parking spaces, 3 of them are for electric car charging. The centre of the building consists of staff facilities and spaces for building services, the rest of the building includes sanitary facilities for children, changing rooms and classrooms. The building is based on a foundation slab that rests on a layer of foam glass granulate. The external masonry is made of ceramic blocks insulated with EPS ETICS. The internal load-bearing and partition masonry is made of unfired clay blocks, which are plastered with clay plaster. The roof structure is made of prefabricated pre-stressed concrete panels, which are sloped outwards. The building is heated by a ground to water heat pump, which will heat the water for underfloor heating, the HVAC unit and hot water distribution. Intelligent LED lighting is installed throughout the building. There are photovoltaic panels on the roof to generate electricity. Rainwater is used for flushing and watering the garden. Furthermore, in my master’s thesis I addressed the possibilities of using rainwater in roof drains to generate electricity. There, I calculate different possibilities and ways to use rainwater as efficiently as possible to generate electricity. A Pelton turbine is used to generate power, which is driven by the force of the water current.

Intelligent Building Management Software Implementation Using PLC
Michal, Pavel ; Drahanský, Martin (referee) ; Marvan, Aleš (advisor)
This work deals with the development of an application module SoftPLC, which is running on the control unit based on the Linux operating system for the company Elko EP. The control unit for IMB is designed for intelligent building management and it is configurable via the SOAP protocol using iNELS Designer & Manager 3.
Collection of measurement and control data
Rathouzský, Matouš ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis outlines the concept of intelligent buildings and the associated collection of measurement and control data. The first part describes the BACnet communication protocol and data collected from the intelligent building. It also describes Honeywell's COACHAX software, which is an integral part of the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The last part is the implementation of a database model for the storage of simulated measurement and control data T12 at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies and afterwards is generate simulated data and created visualization.
Building control system with Saia PLC
Rejchlík, Lukáš ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the basics of intelligent building control using programmable logic controllers. The work focuses especially on heating and lighting on buildings. First part is dedicated programmable logic controllers and visualization. There is also a description of the protocol S-Bus used by Saia products. The following section contains calculations the heat loss of buildings and design of thermal model object created by Simscape libraries for Matlab/Simulink. For room temperature control is designed PI regulator. The control of the building is realized by the PLC Saia. Visualization is displayed on the touch panel.
