Analysis of possibilities for use of III. and IV. generation of nuclear reactors for the Czech Republic
Gajdzica, Lukáš ; Kopřiva, Radek (referee) ; Kopřiva, Radek (referee) ; Matal, Oldřich (advisor)
The thesis deals with the analysis of possibilities for use of III. and IV. generation of nuclear reactors for the Czech Republic. Introduction deals with basic principles of nuclear energetics and fuel cycle which is closely associated with the issue and its development and application in practice will have a significant effect both for choice of future types of nuclear reactors of IV. generation and the matter of settlement with spent nuclear fuel. In other parts the thesis deals with the present state of nuclear energetics in the Czech Republic, compares concrete chosen types of nuclear power plants of III. generation and generally describes nuclear reactors and power plants of IV. generation. Final part of the work is focused on questions concerning the possibility of construction of new blocks of nuclear power plants in the Czech Republic and presents concrete recommendation from author´s point of view.
Utilization renewable energy sources inside of EPS Czech Republik
Zmeškal, Pavel ; Procházka, Zdeněk (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
The purpose of this work was the analysis of current state and further development of renewable energy in the Czech Republic. And next their effects on the electricity system of the Czech Republic. On the basis of established facts has been developed actual state of renewable energy sources. The current situation is only orientation and is still changing at this time. Another objective was to evaluate the various renewable energy sources in terms of their impact on the electricity system and recoverability in the Czech Republic. In more detail were read up the conditions for the wind power plants operation and their connection to the electricity system of Czech Republic. In fine were discuss the impact of renewable energy sources on electricity system and prerequisite for their further development in the Czech Republic.
Assessment of the impact of different types of RES in the power system
Zmeškal, Pavel ; Matoušek, Antonín (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with usage of each kind of RES under conditions of Czech republic and their usage at areas placed in. Consequently supplied RES output power at time and its influence on reliability of supply in EPS CZ. Way of operation of RES from point of view of requirement on regulation and control of operation of EPS is more studied on operation of different kinds of wind power plants, which due to its variable output power affects not only EPS CZ. At final caption, economic influence of RES to EPS is reviewed as a unit, increasingly claims on regulation, increasingly benefit on support of RES. All these influences increase price of electricity for end user.
Accumulation of Energy from Renewable Energy Sources
Heller, Ondřej ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The objective of the first part of master’s thesis is mapping the potential of various types of renewable sources in Europe and Czech Republic, especially solar energy, wind energy, water energy and biomass. There are described principals and ways of energy generation from these sources, brief overview of current technologies, and also their advantages and limitations. An important part is electric supply continuity from renewable sources, there are large differences and the resulting to restrictions on construction and connecting the units to the power system. In this work there are mentioned some impacts on network and rates of change of supply, some sources are also evaluated in terms of maximum power, that can be connected to the power system in our country. The conclusion of the first part is dedicated to energy storage technologies, which are suitable and usable for renewable sources, there are described their principals, properties, status of development and types of aplications, in which these technologies are used. This chapter also focusses on the price level of each technology. The second part of the thesis deals with 1 MWp on-grid photovoltaic power plant design. This design includes also the redox flow batteries accumulation, the first variant calculates on 24-hour steady energy supply, the second optimalized variant calculates on daily energy supply. There are the accumulation system costs estimated and also the payback period for the both variants. Additionally there is also determined minimum penalization for cost-effective operation. The last part is dedicated to changes of impact on the local grid and changes of system impacts, after the accumulation system is installed.
Využití solární energie v ČR
Přidalová, Veronika
This bachelor's work with the following topic -- Use of solar energy in Czech republic, concentrates on description of the basic principles and methods of utilization of solar energy as one of the renewable energy sources. Furthermore, it describes photovoltaics as a tool for transforming solar energy to a usable electric energy and covers the legal terms related to use of this source of energy in Czech Republic. The essential part of this work is then the practical section covering the economical functionality of photovoltaic power plants and the comparison of the different renewable energy source being used in Czech Republic. Last but not least, follows the public survey studying the attitudes of citizens towards the issue of photovoltaics utilization.
Production and distribution of elecricity in the Czech Republic - geographic analysis
WALLOVÁ, Daniela
The bachelor work presents analysis of production, consumption and delivery of energy in the Czech republic area. The introduction outlines the importance of electricity for the 21 st century society. It further mentions the goals of this work and alludes to the discussed hypoteses. The following literature review deals with already published facts. The chapter number 3 introduces used technical terms. The chapter number 4 describes the methodology used in these theses as well as procedures of data processing. The chapter number 5 notes the use of energy and electricity. The chapter number 6 is dedicated to the use of energy during the Czech history ? from the prime beginning to the present. Analytical chapter number 7 is the key chapter in this work. It pays attention to the current situation regarding electricity in the Czech Republic which includes the actual legislation, localization of all of the simultaneous energetic resources of the Czech republic as well as describes our production, consumption and distribution of electricity. The last part consists conclusions and bibliography.
