Physiotherapy in relation to functional infertility of women
KUKLOVÁ, Valerie
Infertility can be defined as a couple's inability to conceive during one year of unprotected intercourse, at least twice a week, or it can be defined as a woman's inability to deliver a viable fetus. In the Czech Republic, 20-25% of couples are involuntarily childless. Infertility as a disease can be treated by assisted reproductive techniques and many other methods, including physiotherapy treatment. The aim of this thesis was to describe some possibilities of physiotherapy treatment in relation to the functional infertility of women, then to describe the effect on the overall condition of the musculoskeletal system, pelvic floor and fertility of the woman. Based on the stated objectives, fertility disorders and their causes have been described in the theoretical part, as well as physiotherapy methods suitable for the treatment of functional female infertility. Several methods have been described; the method of Ludmila Mojžíšová has been described in more detail. In the practical part of the work, qualitative research was used, namely case studies in the form of case reports. The research took place at the Rehabilitace Borovany s.r.o. facility near České Budějovice. Women with diagnosed functional infertility were selected for the research. The aim of this research was to observe changes in the state of the entire locomotor system, especially the pelvic floor. These patients had an overall improvement in locomotor system, an improvement in posture. The condition of the deep stabilization system muscles, especially the pelvic floor muscles, improved further, and the respiratory stereotype was corrected. All the patients felt subjectively better. One of these patients reported a pregnancy during physiotherapy treatment. This bachelor thesis is an asset for learning about functional female sterility and its treatment methods. It can also be used in the clinical practice of physiotherapists interested in this issue.
Womenś awareness of methods of assisted reproduction in the Czech Republic
Dolejšková, Michaela ; Černý, Andrej (advisor) ; Šimják, Patrik (referee)
The theme of my thesis is women's awareness about the methods of assisted reproduction in the Czech Republic. The work is devided into a theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part I deal with the physiology of reproductive organs of women and men, further I describe the term infertility and its causes. In the following chapters I focus on the process of finding a specialist, subsequent examinations and possible methods of assisted reproduction. In the practical part I examine the awareness of women in this area. As a data source I use an anonymous quantitative questionnaire, shared on social networks, filled in by women of different ages. 193 women completed the questionnaire. I made several hypotheses, which I confirmed or refuted thanks to the answers. Research has confirmed the hypothesis that more than half of women know when and to which doctor to address fertility problems. Subsequently, the second hypothesis was confirmed-most women know at least some of the risk factors affecting fertility. Furthermore, I assumed that most women are aware of the importance of age in the pursuit of conception. Although I confirmed the hypothesis thanks to a questionnaire survey, but not every woman knows how low the age at which fertility reduction begins to manifest. I refute the...

Comparison of the occurrence of inversion at the 9th chromosome in infertile and sterile patients with literature dates
Šlégrová, Sandra ; Krkavcová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Šípek, Antonín (referee)
The pericentric inversion of the chromosome 9 [inv (9)] is the most common small-scale inversions in the human chromosomes. Some publications consider it as a variation of the human karyotype, which has no clinical manifestations. However there are mentioned the studies in this thesis that reports the inversion on the chromosome 9 in connection with the various pathological conditions, such as sterility, infertility, or some congenital anomalies. However, most attention is paid to the patients who were evaluated for the indication due to the failure of reproduction (sterility or infertility). The research was conducted in the accredited genetic laboratory GENvia s.r.o., where the data of the period 2004-2011 are collected. During this period a total of 5195 patients of variety indication reasons were examined. Totally 84 cases of them were found with inversion of the chromosome 9 with an incidence of 1.62 % laboratory. The indication diagnoses are divided into six created groups because of their quantity. One of them is called sterility/infertility. There were found 23 cases with inversion in the 9th chromosome in this group. It makes 27.38 % totally of the amount found in the chromosome inversions 9th. The occurrence of this inversion was also noticed in other indication groups: the congenital...
The Benefits of Healthy Lifestyle As an Integral Part of Male and Female Infertility Prevention.
ŠIKLOVÁ, Helena
The key points of the bachelor thesis comprise the characteristics and problems connected with fertility disorders; its psychological factors, risk factors negatively influencing the fertility, causes of infertility disorders and male fertility disorders. The further points of the thesis elaborate on the possibility of developing these disorders and so stress the ongoing prevention since early age. The possibili ties of therapy and its complex approach are discussed. The main goal of the thesis is the analysis of possible therapy options and possible prevention conducted at the level of individual couples with fertility disorders. There are eight case examples of the couples who undergone the nine-month intervention program since May 2012 to January 2013. Structured interview methods (Švařílek, Šeďová,2007,s.28), method of observing and professor Lewit's kinesiology methods were used as an adequate solution that effectively uses the number of treated patients and help to achieve the objectives set at the beginning. The methods correspond to qualitative approach (DISMAN, 2000,s.52) and their utilization positively influenced the life expectancy value orientation of the couples, their life quality and overall health condition.
