Standardization and harmonization of the expert process analyses of the new-built flats
Nováčková, Jana ; Hobst, Leonard (referee) ; Mikš, Lubomír (referee) ; Brožovský, Jiří (advisor)
Legal rules and regulations, which are engaged in forensic engineering including expert evidence’s requirements, are because of the difference of this sphere very universal and common. Due to this situation, legal orders and regulations can not standardize and harmonize expert procedures for particular branches or their specific parts. The Dissertation thesis is focused on a elaboration of the methodology procedure for expert evidence’s elaborations, which analyze defects and imperfections in new-built flats.
Buildings monitoring
Kopuletá, Jitka ; Žítt, Petr (referee) ; Schmid, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is aimed at the passportization of the breakdowns and imperfections on the front facades of houses on Arne Nováka and Gorkého streets in Brno where the reconstruction of the area of Philosophical Faculty of the Masaryk University will be in progress. The first visual inspection was accomplished before the beginning of the construction works. On its base the monitoring sheets of the separate buildings have been compiled.
Stabilitní analýza ocelových konstrukcí s imperfekcemi
Kalina, Martin ; Krejsa, Martin (referee) ; Kala, Jiří (referee) ; Kala, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this work is focused on soluti0on stability problem of planar bar structures. The calculation algorithms and methods used for analysis of behavior of these structures are described. The discrete computational model of steel of von Mises planar truss is presented. The structure deformation is evaluated by seeking the minimal potential energy. The effect of vertical displacement of top joint is determined by step-by-step method, and Newton iteration. Symmetric and asymmetric effects of initial shape of geometric imperfections of axes of struts are used in the model. The work is focused on another step in research of mapping of potential energy of elastic structures with aim at arch structures. For selected hinged arch loaded by displacement in the midpoint, the area of two concurrently existing postcritical statical equilibrium states is scanned using dynamical relaxation and applying of a set of designed mapping methods.
Lateral-torsional buckling of beams - analysis of specific cases
Piják, Jiří ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Bajer, Miroslav (advisor)
Thesis deals with flexural-lateral buckling of asymmetric cross sections, especially assessment according to ČSN EN 1993-1-1. Models are based on bar, shell and solid finite element method. Assessment of software Scia Engineer and RFEM are analysed in bar model. Plate and volume model uses shell and solid elements and initial imperfections. Computing is geometrically nonlinear. Correspondence of bar and plate model is studied. Optimal amplitude is suggested. Simple beam loaded with continuous line loading is taken as an example.
Procedural requirements of civil proceedings
Košútová, Veronika ; Kubešová, Silvia (advisor) ; Frintová, Dita (referee)
1 ABSTRACT Procedural requirements of civil proceedings My thesis deals with the issues of procedural requirements of civil proceedings, that are sometimes termed also as requirements of proceedings. This term refers to the legal institute, that creates the legal framework for realization of the right to the judicial protection, because the fulfillment of these statutory requirements is one of the fundamental assumptions for hearing of the case and for the issuance of decision in the civil proceedings. Systematically my work is divided into two parts, namely into the general part and the special part. These two parts in total consists of seven chapters. Particular chapters are subsequently divided into the subchapters and each of them into the sections. While the general part consisting of the first three chapters concerns with the general view on the issues of procedural requirements, remaining four chapters of the special part deal with the particular procedural requirements in more detail. The first chapter aims to define as precisely as possible the term of procedural requirements and also potential discrepancies in its interpretation. It involves also the fundamental classification of procedural requirements. Chapter no. 2 analyses the research of procedural requirements, that occurs at any time during...

Analysis of the defects identified in the fire inspections performed within the State Fire Inspection of the Fire Rescue Department of South Bohemia for the years 2003 - 2012
KOŠŤÁL, Filip
The thesis on the topic Analysis of Faults Found in Fire Inspections Performed within Execution of State Fire Inspection by the Fire Brigade Rescue Corps of Southern Bohemia in 2003 2012 focuses on comparison of faults selected by gradual elimination from all the 700 fire inspections to final 150 complex fire inspections and classified per years in a ten-year comparison period. Follow-up inspections and thematic fire inspection were not used for the complex evaluation as they did not contain the necessary information. Six parameters were chosen from all the performed complex inspections containing 30 monitored facts of correctness and existence of documents of the inspected object and seven monitored facts from physical examination of the objects. These six parameters were subsequently compared. The aim of my thesis was to find out whether the numbers of the faults detected within execution of the state fire inspection were increasing in the individual categories. The theoretical part summarizes the basic legal norms applicable to the Fire Brigade Rescue Corps of the CR and to execution of the state fire inspection and some extensive legal norms related to the inspection activities or inspected subjects. Elaboration of the thesis topic required explanation of some terms like legal entity, private entrepreneur, fire inspection, state fire inspection and its integration in the Fire Brigade Rescue Corps of the CR. The chapter contains description of activities including graphs illustrating procedures related to execution of state fire inspection. A separate part is dedicated to fire protection history, formation of awareness of the history and to chronological arrangement of some key legal norms binding for the Fire Brigade Rescue Corps of the CR and execution of state fire inspection. It was for example necessary to present the rules governing execution of state fire inspection like professional competence of Fire Brigade Rescue Corps members and their identification at the place of inspection, to clarify the terms fire inspection plan and fire inspection programme. The final part of the theoretical base of the thesis contains the rules of behaviour of Fire Brigade Rescue Corps members performing state fire inspection at the inspected site and principles of interaction with people representing the inspected subject. The research methodology was chosen adequately to the topic dealt with. First archive materials from complex fire inspection records were studied and then the individual faults were qualitatively processed and categorized to faults in documentary part and physical defects. After that a selection of closer spectre of examined faults was performed and preparation of data for comparison. The faults of the individual years were compared in the monitored data and the danger index of the individual years was calculated. The concluding part of the thesis focused on presentation of the dependences of the detected faults of the individual years by means of tables and graphs. The results were mutually compared, classified, commented in detail in the discussion and elaborated into the overall image of the society. Dependence of the number of performed complex fire inspections on the number of detected faults was proven from the danger index and from graphic representation of its values.
Scalable Decision Making: Uncertainty, Imperfection, Deliberation, European Conference on Machine Learning and Principles and Practice of Knowledge Discovery in Databases (ECML/PKDD 2013)
Guy, Tatiana Valentine ; Kárný, Miroslav
Machine learning (ML) and knowledge discovery both use and serve to decision making (DM), which has to cope with uncertainty, incomplete knowledge, problem and data complexity and imperfection (limited cognitive and evaluating capabilities) of the involved heterogeneous multiple participants (aka agents, decision makers, components, controllers, classifiers, etc.). Contemporary DM deals with complex systems characterised by heterogeneous components and their goal-motivated dynamic interactions. The individual participants are selfish, i.e. follow their individual goals. There is no well-justified way to influence or describe the resulting collective behaviour of such a system via a well-proved combination of the selfish components. Economic and natural sciences describe concepts governing the functioning of systems of selfish participants as well as ways influencing their behaviour. However, the majority of solutions rely on the human moderator/manager controlling such a system.
