Smejkalová, Eva ; Felcmanová, Lenka (referee)
Abstract:Abstract: Communication constitutes the ability to express and share our thoughts, experiences and feelings in everyday life. Communication also plays an important role in the process of education. In education, we gather information, adopt it, learn how to work with it and continue to use it. The position of the child and the pupil with impaired communication ability is much more complicated in this case, because the difficulties in speaking are transferred to the communication process and can affect the management of school skills. Educating pupils with impaired communication skills is a challenging task. Merendová, Gabriela ; Hájková, Vanda (referee)
This work is focused on the development of grapho- motor skills in children in a class with modified education programme. The development of motor, intellectual and speech functions in 6 children with impaired communication skill who attended a class with modified education programme in a nursery school were observed within a year. Exercising of fine motor and grapho- motor skills was performed daily beside the routine school programme. Case studies of these children were worked out. The results of these children were compared to the results of a group of 20 children of the same age in a common class of nursery school. Differences in all monitored parameters have been found. The most expressive were the differences in the area of speech functions between both groups. On the other hand, an approximation to the standard of drawing can be seen when comparing figure drawing in these children and in the drawings of their peers from a common class. Key words: pre-school children, grapho-motor skills, fine motor skills, speech functins, impaired communication skill
