Digitization and new methods of training workers

The diploma thesis deals with the issues and possibilities of further professional education at the workplace in the context of digitization. This brings new possibilities for the development of workers and modern tools for further education, which has been affected by social and economic changes in the last few years - especially the covid-19 pandemic. Continuing education and workforce development at this time naturally enabled the transition to an online environment and are currently a key technology for workforce education and development. Companies are currently mainly using hybrid tools that combine face-to-face and online elements of education and learning. It also works to develop employees' digital and specific professional competencies. On the basis of these theoretical starting points, which are elaborated in the theoretical part of the work, research was conducted with a focus on the identification and analysis of educational methods at the workplaces of the selected company. The aim of the research was to describe the most frequently used platforms and methods of further professional education and development of workers with an emphasis on the approach and technical support of companies.
