Artificial intelligence in web development
Vaň, Denis ; Štípek, Jiří (advisor) ; Procházka, Josef (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with the use of modern artificial intelligence, specifically OpenAI's GPT-4 model, for web development and applications. The introductory section provides an overview of artificial intelligence and details the key characteristics and development of the GPT-4 model. The basic principles of its operation are explained, including the transformer architecture and technologies such as Multi-Head Attention and Positional Encoding that are essential to its performance. Furthermore, the paper explores tokenization processes, including Byte Pair Encoding, and their impact on model efficiency. Token count limits, pricing policy and token management are also considered. The broader context of the importance of GPT-4 for the future of artificial intelligence and natural language processing is also discussed. The theoretical section also shows how and where GPT-4 can be applied. The practical part of the bachelor thesis presents how the GPT-4 model can independently create web projects of varying complexity, ranging from simple HTML and CSS pages to more complex applications using JavaScript, PHP and databases. It starts with projects such as personal business cards and interactive forms that demonstrate GPT-4's basic capabilities in creating and styling web content. Gradually, more...
Multi-Platform Tool for Generation of Technical Documentation from XML
Uhrecký, Michal ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and develop a technical documentation generator that processes general XML input. The work thoroughly examines the structure of XML documents and defines the criteria that quality technical documentation should meet. Furthermore, it focuses on the generation of documentation, emphasizing the possibilities for user annotation of XML data.
Information System for Organizers of Sailing Races
Vaňo, Peter ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create an information system for organizers of sailboat races. The system is created as a web application with PWA in Java and TypeScript using the Spring and Angular frameworks. The main function of the system is the management of races and the registration of participants. The system also includes support for placing the race course and navigation to buoys afterward. During the work, importance was placed on expandability, reuse, and simplicity.
Design and development of an educational gaming terminal for mini-games programmed in Matlab
Černý, Petr ; Grepl, Robert (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with creating a device, suitable as a learning module for students learning programming. While creating this thesis a user application was created that is able to handle importing a game programmed by student and running it. The application maintains a database containing a list of users ands uses RFID technology and ISIC cards for identification. For controlling the device a printed circuit board was created that communicates with RFID reader and PC.
Web App for Beekeeping Hive scale
Dudar, Oleksandra ; Sikora, Marek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and implementation of a web application for statistical processing and visualization of data from the electronic scale of beehives. The application enables statistical processing of data and presentation in the form of graphs, with the possibility of adding notes and filtering according to data. The implementation uses modern technologies such as React and Next.js and progresses from requirements analysis and design to detailed front-end, backend and predictive model implementation.
Integration of Web Data Sources to Information Systems
Hrubý, Erik ; Zaklová, Kristýna (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this work is to create a library for the integration of data from web resources, such as HTML document, into information systems. The library is implemented in the Java language and the programmer will be able to use it for quick and easy mapping of data from the HTML document to Java data structures (objects), which he will be able to freely use in his information system operating on the Java platform. The programmer will be required to supply the library with his own implementation, in which the annotations will describe how the given values should be searched using the CSS selector or the XPath expression. The Jsoup library is used to download the web document.
Development of a user interface for the needs of management and registration when stopping vehicles
Kuric, Christian ; Dvořák, Jan (referee) ; Šeda, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the development of a web application for the management of records of stopped vehicles in road traffic. The server side je implemented in Java and uses the Spring framework to process logic and communicate with the PostgreSQL database. The client side is implemented using Next.js, which is built on React and TypeScript. The application enables efficient manipulation and management of vehicle records, users, receive messages via mqtt protocol and work with them.
Web Browser Extension for Web Page Analysis
Novotný, Jakub ; Zaklová, Kristýna (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this project is to create a browser extension that will use the WebExtensions API technology to analyze and process data from dynamically changing web pages. The extension collects data, which it sends in JSON format to the server, where it will be processed. Subsequently, the results are returned to the extension and presented to the user either as text output or visually as an overlay on the page. Thanks to using the WebExtensions API, the extension is compatible with a wide range of web browsers.
Javascript apps supporting education in signal processing
Tlamka, Vojtěch ; Číž, Radim (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with education support in the field of signal processing. Its aim is to create three JavaScript applets that demonstrate the processes of amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, and dithering, in order to link students' theoretical knowledge with visual and auditory experience. The thesis first addresses the theory of all three studied topics. The practical part then describes the tools used in applet development, followed by the applets' user interfaces themselves. The final chapter analyzes the code of the entire JavaScript project.
