Segmentation in microscopic images
T.Kovács, Matúš ; Jiřík, Radovan (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the segmentation of microscopic images from plant sections. It describes the importance of the histogram for obtaining information from the image, and the utilization of the wavelet transformation for the preprocessing of the images. The thesis describes and categorizes different segmentation methods. In the thesis we use MATLAB for the validation of the presented theories and as the interface for creating a software model. The created software application automatically analyzes and evaluates microscopic images.
Application for Editing the Histogram
Nezhyba, Jiří ; Kohoutek, Michal (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
The object of this bachelor‘s thesis is create an application for editing the histogram. The program is realized by programming language C++ and programming tool Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition. It defines fundamental terms for this work as histogram or transformation of grey level scale. Above all, it analyses individual grey level transformations, which used for editing the histogram. It describes designing and realization of application. Input data of program is any input digital image, which user order, selected grey level transformation and its parameters. Output data are input image in grey levels, histogram input image, transformed input image and its histogram. Output images can be saved.
Texture Characteristics
Zahradnik, Roman ; Šiler, Ondřej (referee) ; Švub, Miroslav (advisor)
Aim of this project is to evaluate effectivity of various texture features within the context of image processing, particulary the task of texture recognition and classification. My work focuses on comparing and discussion of usage and efficiency of texture features based on local binary patterns and co- ccurence matrices. As classification algorithm is concerned, cluster analysis was choosen.
Image analysis for correction of electron microscopes
Smital, Petr ; Schwarz, Daniel (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis describes the physical nature of corrections of an electron microscope and mathematical methods of image processing required for their complete automation. The corrections include different types of focusing, astigmatism correction, electron beam centring, and image stabilisation. The mathematical methods described in this thesis include various methods of measuring focus and astigmatism, with and without using the Fourier transform, edge detection, histogram operations, and image registration, i.e. detection of spatial transformations in images. This thesis includes detailed descriptions of the mathematical methods, their evaluation using an “offline” application, descriptions of the algorithms of their implementation into an actual electron microscope and results of their testing on the actual electron microscope, in the form of a video footage grabbed from its control computer’s screen.
User Interface Using WWW for Photo Image Analysis
Balcárek, Lukáš ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the user interface for machine quality assessment of the technical groups of photos. This work is written about photos, graphics editors and their evaluation. The practical part is focused on the design and creation of application with web user interface, which evaluates and compares the quality of photos. Finally is this created application with its user interface tested by users, its benefits and opportunities for further expansion are evaluated.
Analysis of optic disc vessels in video-sequences from experimental fundus camera
Hartlová, Marie ; Mézl, Martin (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
Segmentation of the vasculature is an important step in the process of the retinal image analysis.Theresultsoftheanalysiscanbeusedtodiagnoseseveraleyeandcardiovascular diseases. The aim of this thesis is to search for possibilities in video-sequences from experimental fundus camera.
Assessment of transformation of the grids maps of the stable and land cadastre into S-JTSK at the boundary of the cadastre unit.
Linzmajerová, Jana ; Berková, Alena (referee) ; Matějík, Miroslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the transformation of the grids maps of the land cadastre into S-JTSK at the boundary of the cadastre unit. The theoretical part consists of an overview of cadastres based on measurements and discusses the evolution of cadastral boundaries. Next, I give a theory of transformation and statistics. The second part deals with the very essence. The identical points were found in terrain and subsequently measured. The transformation was assessed based on these points.
Optimalization of the die cast process of high-voltage transformers.
Borunský, Tomáš ; Fiala, Alois (referee) ; Maroš, Bohumil (advisor)
This thesis deals with choises of using mathematical statistics when optimising the compression casting process of high-voltage device transformer. There is a theoretical consideration to be found in the introduction which concerns the compression casting itself and all necessary information connected with it. Then there is a key numerical analysis part following. In the first instance there are variability problems of individual casting device discussed and then a regression analysis made to demonstrate and prove a link between the partial discharge and the key parameters of casting process. Finally an “optimal” casting sequence is suggested and alternative attitude problems with the assistance of Design of Experiments (DOE) are discussed.
Analysis of fundus images aimed to localize pathological areas
Hartlová, Marie ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
Diabetic retinopathy is a serious eye complication of diabetes mellitus and one of the major causes of blindness in the world. This thesis deals with detection of neovascularizations, which is the first manifestation of diabetic retinopathy in the retina. In summary, in this thesis describe the properties image data from digital fundus camera, image segmentation methods, methods for automatic blood vessels segmentation and detection of neovaskularizations. This information are used to create own method to detect neovaskularization.
Statistical classification exit checking system at production fire car
Nikl, Michal ; Pernikář, Jiří (referee) ; Prokop, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of the control system outputs in the production of fire car. In the first part of thesis is evaluated control system by company THT, Ltd.. The second, theoretical part, describes the seven basic quality tools, which represents tools for detection and analyzing of quality problems. In the third, practical part, is describes the proposed program, which serves as a simple tool for identification of the most frequent disagreements in the fire engines. In the final part is evaluated implementation of the proposed program in the company.
