Pavlatová, Šárka ; Chrudimský, Jan (advisor) ; Vokounová, Šárka (referee)
Title: Differences in the physical fitness of kindergarten children and children participating in artisritc gymnastics clubs in the stage of Active start. Objectives: The aim of the master's thesis is to evaluate whether there are differences in performance in selected tests of physical fitness and motor performance between 4-7 years old girls, while one group consists of girls attending gymnastics sports preparations and the other group consists of children attending other sport activities then gymnastics. Methods: The measurement is based on a combination of the Motor Competence Assessment battery, the Preschool Fitness Test and supplemented with a deep forward bend test in a sitting position. The data was collected in kindergartens and gymnastics clubs in the Prague city. The group from gymnastic clubs in the stage of Active start were represented by 19 girls with an average age of 5.66 years (s.d. = ± 0,25). The group of girls from kindergartens was represented by 17 girls with an average age of 5.73 years (s.d. = ± 0,81). Performances were compared by basic statistical indicators and statistical significance evaluation. Results: T-test evaluation statistical significance was found for the following tests: standing long jump, shuttle run 4 x 5 m, joint mobility range in forward bending, moving...

Title: Differences in Physical Fitness Level between Preschool Children and Children Attending Gymnastics Training Objectives: The aim of this master's thesis is to compare and evaluate the statistical significance of the measured results in the field of physical fitness level in children aged 5-7 years, with one group consisting of girls who attend a gymnastics training program, the other group consisting of children who do not attend the training program. Methods: The measurement is based on a combination of the MCA battery and the Preschool Fitness Test. The data was collected once in kindergartens and gymnastics clubs in the capital city of Prague. A total of 88 children participated in the testing, from which a sample of 35 probands was subsequently selected. The group of girls from sports preparations was represented by 19 girls with an average age of 5.66 years (s.d. = ± 0,25). The group of girls from kindergartens was represented by 17 girls with an average age of 5.73 years (s.d. = ± 0,81). Results: The result is a comparison of basic statistical indicators and an evaluation of statistical significance between a group of gymnasts and girls from kindergarten who engage regularly in organized physical activity. Based on the evaluation of the t-test, statistical significance was found for the...
Jogging like a tool for influencing of fitness and body mass in men
Ekl, Tomáš ; Bunc, Václav (advisor) ; Strejcová, Barbora (referee)
Title: Jogging like a tool for influencing of fitness and body mass in men Objectives: The main objective of this work is to propose two exercise programs. The first one focuses on the application of jogging as a means of weight reduction in overweight people. The second one aims to increase the fitness of healthy individual. At the same time the aim is to map an available information from native and foreign literature on physical activity like jogging, which can have a positive effect on individual fitness, as well as applicable method for weight reduction. Methods: The method used was to research the available literature and internet sources. Publications, which deal with jogging, health related fitness and weight reduction, were analyzed. Results: Results of this work confirmed that that physical activity in the form of jogging has a significant positive effect on the formation and maintenance of physical and mental fitness as well as applicable method for weight reduction. Keywords: jogging, health-related fitness, weight reduction
Effect of individual intervention programme on selected components of health-related fitness to proband without previous movement experience
Kovařík, Michal ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Daďová, Klára (referee)
Title: Effect of individual intervention programme on selected components of health- related fitness to proband without previous movement experience Objective: The main objective of the thesis is physical analysis and diagnosis of individual, individual intervention program creation and subsequent assessment of whether and how personally leaded program can affect selected components of health-related fitness to proband without any previous experience. Methods: For the needs of this thesis several types of measurements were used. Body composition using bioelectrical impedance analysis, postural stability - posturograph, laboratory stress test on a treadmill, terrain stress test on the athletics track, the basic movement patterns using diagnostic according to Janda, as a complementary test was chosen dynamometer to determine the strength of forearm muscles. Results: During the 16-week intervention changes occurred in many of the parameters. Individual intervention program has brought significant changes in body composition, specifically to reduce the ratio of ECM/BCM in the early phase of the program, but later was its exacerbation. Generally, the trend showed improvement in postural stability due to the generally realized PA. The intervention program did not demonstrate significant changes in...
