Academic writing characteristics: a brief handbook for students.

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem akademického písemného stylu. S akademickým písemným stylem se setkává každý student vysoké školy, pro mnohé z nich však může představovat nemalé potíže. Proto se tato práce zaměřuje nejen na rozbor a charakteristiku akademického stylu, ale také obsahuje stručnou příručku pro studenty, která by jim mohla pomoci usnadnit těžkosti spojené s vytvářením akademických textů. První část práce shrnuje pojem akademický písemný styl, nastiňuje jeho definici a poskytuje jeho podrobnou charakteristiku. Dále jsou zde zmíněny nejčastější typy akademických textů, se kterými by se studenti mohli při studiích setkat a jejich stručný popis. Druhá část se poté věnuje příručce pro studenty. Příručka je rozdělena do několika kapitol, které rozebírají aspekty akademického písemného stylu v praxi. Jejím hlavním cílem je pomoci studentům usnadnit možné problémy, se kterými se mohou při psaní setkat. Příručka není zaměřena jen na jazykovou složku, ale na proces psaní jako takový.

Constructional technologic project of objects at dump Úholičky

In this diploma thesis two steel frame objects of a waste dump in Úholičky are solved. The aim is to resolve the chosen parts of a construction-technological project. The main topics for selected technological phases are transportation, bill of quantities, technological regulations, construction organization’s principles, time schedule, machinery, control and testing plan, work safety and worker’s health protection. These topics are prepared for the technological phases of ground works, fundamental contruction, upper load-bearing structure, construction of the floor and sheathing of the object. The thesis has also other parts which include static solution of a prestressed unit, budget by items, calculation of the object’s maintenance cost, handbook for bulding’s occupancy and proposal of construction contract.

Title: Floorball - Manual for teachers at grammar schools and beginnig coaches Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to describe individual player skills including field players and goalkeepers and to describe the very basics of offensive and defensive plays. This thesis is strongly aimed on floorball basics, that appear during all age groups of students at grammar school. Every single piece of information within this thesis is usable for everyone inside floorball training process, but designated for very beginners. Methods: In our thesis we used methods of theoretic knowing and information processing.Last but not least analysis,comparisob and research of Czech and international literature. Results: It was created transparent handbook for teachers of primary schools and coaches. The goal of master thesis was fulfilled and partial goals as well. Manual for Journalists: How to Work With Disinformation

This Bachelor's thesis focuses on disinformation and ways how to tackle it. In the beginning, the theoretical part introduces definitions of the fundamental terms, such as disinformation, misinformation, malinformation, and fake news, whose knowledge is crucial when working with this matter. Further, it describes the Czech disinformation scene in contrast to analyzes of the code of ethics of Czech mainstream online media, which are compared with a code of British public broadcasting company BBC. The theoretical part is also dedicated to the key topics for its practical part. Among those is knowledge of disinformation of Czech journalists and cognitive functions of the human's brain which have a significant influence on sharing false information. The practical part consists handbook for junior journalists which, apart from the theoretical part, is based on interviews with more than ten Finnish journalists, and experts on disinformation and media education. This handbook is divided into ten chapters, alias ten commandments, which brings journalists theoretical knowledge as well as practical tips for work with disinformation. Design patterns in PHP

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to give a basic overview of the areas of support objectoriented programming and design patterns in the context of the programming language PHP. This bachelor thesis includes recherché part with summary of the historic support of objectoriented programming in programming language PHP and a summary of the development and importance of design patterns. Moreover, a handbook with selected design patterns, which are useful in this programming language, was created in another part of the work. Selected design patterns in handbook are amend with sample codes on implementation of simple and cogent situations which facilitate the understanding of the pattern. In conclusion, there is a section that contains recommendations for modification of introductory courses in programming in programming language PHP at the University of Economics.

Assessment of the distribution of an information manual for the population in the emergency planning zone around the Temelin nuclear power plant in case of a radiation accident.

This thesis deals with the assessment of distribution of the information handbook to the population of Emergency Planning Zone (hereinafter referred to as EPZ) of Nuclear Power Plant Temelín (hereinafter NPP Temelín) in case of a radiation accident in 2013. In conclusion, the thesis assessed the process of distribution of information campaign for emergency preparedness of the EPZ population in case of a radiation accident in the form of a handbook. The distribution process was evaluated as well established, and in order to increase its efficiency it was suggested to sign contracts concerning reimbursement of the expenses connected with the distribution of handbooks with individual municipalities within the EPZ, as it has already been practised in the case of providing the population with antidotes.
