The thesis focuses on the design of a dental clinic in Šlapanice. The thesis is structured into three parts. The frst part describes architectural and structural design of the two-storey building. The First oor includes a pharmacy, utility room, reception, waiting room and surgeries. The second oor contains additional surgeries and facilities for sta and patients. The structural system is transverse ceramic masonry. The building has a at biosolar roof and a ventilated façade with greenery on the west side. Foundation structures consists of reinforced concrete strips on drilled piles. The aim of second part is the design of building services, including air handling units with heat recovery, gas boiler heating and photovoltaic panels on the biosolar roof. The cooling is provided by a VRF system. The design of building services is presented in a global scheme. Based on this design and building physics calculations, the results are presented in an energy performance certifcate. In the third part, the issue of vertical green facades is investigated. Involves analyzing green facades' terminology and classifcation. The review is followed by experimental part presenting measurements of temperature and humidity on the KVOP building in Brno. The result of the measurements proves that the temperature on the green facade is up to 45 degrees lower than other elements of the facade during hot summer days. This fact confrms that the use of a green façade helps the surrounding climate as well as the heat load of the indoor environment. Thanks to the attached photo documentation of the green façade, we can follow the progress of plant growth in our geographical environment during the year.

The new proposed building Fotball stadium has make to recover and remake place, where was destined to sport´s and leisure activities in history. Ponava´s sport area has a huge tradition. Area is without concept and realition in this time. The new sport´s proposed centre has given to continue green line Luzanecky park not only made sport potency. Projects is given a live face to urban place, which will be visited no only during by sport´s match. Basic idea mean to create the point out Fotball stadium like dominant in this place. Object have to be seen from the all views in the main roads like the symbol of sport´s town. Stadium has derived benefit from good situation first old building but object is suggested more under terrein. Organic shapes were motivating. Urchin´s shell was a inspirational for design wrapper. Suggestion of wrapper was made from the terms like dynamic, sport, move and speed. These motives were imporatnt in proposing perforable wrapper which gave her uncontrolled dynamic. Expression followed the function. Fotbal is a green place – grass. Green Fasade was suggested for many benefits. System has great properties but it has also poined up function of this object and made up reaction. The Project should extended green line Luzanky – Ponava – Arboretum. Green stadium is a dominant architectural jewel – like Green point, which is arouse public notice and representative for Brno town.

Project's goal is to test the large buildings' design options in regards to permanently sustainable construction. The author's aim is to design energy efficient multipurpose building, with minimal negative effects on environment. The positive impact on environment is visible on the preference of natural materials used in construction. External constructions of thermal conductivity coefficient at the level of passive standard are designed using objects of renewable energy. The location in Brno has been chosen for the proposed building, specifically the location known as brownfields. Lot is accessible from the street of Jan Babak, where public transport is available. The shape of the lot is in the form of incomplete oval with internal open atrium. The administrative part of the building takes half of the area with the rest of the area being used for other businesses, such as fitness centre and restaurant. Garages are proposed to be located underneath the main building, which is built on rigid structure. This rigid structure is a steel skeleton one with linked ceilings. The foundation of building is on stilt. The roof is of a flat type with variable slope, its structure and slope are of metal construction. Claddings are designed in the form of wooden structure filled with straw bales, the exterior is thermally insulated using fibreboard thermal insulation. Inner tract facade is proposed to be panelled with wooden planks. Photovoltaic panels will be placed both from the south and southeast of the outer oval. The rest of the facade will be panelled with grate for creepers. Only environment-friendly sources of energy are considered for the proposed building. Heating and cooling is based on the heat pump air-water system; using the rainwater as an example of renewing natural energy. The surroundings of the building are designed as meadows for of infiltration of rainwater. The proposed building has been assessed in terms of environmental sustainabilit
Systems of energy efficient buildings
Šlampová, Kateřina ; Horák, Petr (referee) ; Počinková, Marcela (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is systems of energy efficient buildings with a focus on the building envelope. The first theoretical part describes the quantities that we consider when designing the building envelope. The second half of the theoretical part is with reference to the experimental part of the thesis focused on a special type of vertical perimeter structure, namely walls with live vegetation installed from the outside of the structure. The second, practical part of this work, deals with the design of heating and hot water supply for a multifunctional building. The design is elaborated in two variants - heating by means of radiators in the first variant and in the second variant by means of floor heating for residential units of the solved building. The third part define an experiment, which had the task of comparing the measured quantities on two types of vertical perimeter structures, namely a structure with growing greenery from the outside and an identical structure only without a layer of greenery. At the same time, the task was to check the possible influence of the applied greenery on heat losses, and thus the design of the heating system.
