Ray Tracing on CUDA Architecture
Bidmon, Lukáš ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
This work presents utilization of CUDA capable graphic cards for ray tracing. First, the classic recursive ray tracing algorithm is presented and necessary math is explained for implemented objects. nVidia CUDA architecture is introduced in next chapter with explained differences from CPU computations. Following is the implementation scheme where modifications necessary for CUDA are discussed. Implementation chapter covers details about flow of the program and memory usage. Finally the CPU and GPU testing results are presented.
ANSI art
Novák, Vlastimil ; Slaný, Karel (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The present bachelor thesis deals with automatic generation of ASCII graphics. The thesis is divided in several parts. First part describes the basics of computer graphics, image processing and recognition. The next part is focused on a theory and history of two most famous art styles called ASCII art and ANSI art. The methods of char recognition and problems arising from their testing are described in software application design. The methods reducing colour space of analyzed area were designed for char foreground and background colouring. The semifinal part is focused on implementation of library generating ANSI and ASCII art image and software application enabling the setting of all necessary parameters. The testing on a series of images, evaluation of results reached during the development and suggestions of possible future extensions are described in last part of the thesis.
Generation of Infographics for Live Streaming
Krejčík, Marek ; Starka, Tomáš (referee) ; Matýšek, Michal (advisor)
Main goal of the work was to create application for static and dynamic graphic creation for use in electronic sports live broadcast. Program should be able to create static graphics for individual matches and also generate dynamic graphics based on responses obtained from Riot Games' servers during a live game. It should also be able to send the acquired graphics to the editing device without using keying.
Generation of Synthetic Retinal Images with High Resolution
Learning to Generate Images with Convolutional Neural Networks
Kohút, Jan ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to design and analyze convolutional neural networks generating images of characters based on their parameters. Parameters of characters are type of char, font, colour of character, background colour, translation and rotation. Neural networks have created multidimensional representation of each parameter. Relations inside these representation are similar to relations inside parameters. Neural networks generate characters with new values of parameters based on interpolation between learned values of parameters. Neural networks are capable to generalize problem of generating images.
