Senior house

Content of this thesis is proces and structural layout design of subject „SENIORS’ BOARDINGHOUSE“. It’s a wide subject, which south wing is designed as single-storey with cellarage, central subject is two-storeyd without cellarage. Wooden shelters are connected to north and south wing. Architecture has been chosen in order to make a subject evoking calm and positive impression for retirement aged persons living. Roof structure is double-pitched shape with two main skylights. Roof is red coloured and a facade is white. Interior space of subject is designed to satisfy a demands for comfortable living of single persons (one-room flats) as well as retirement aged couples (2+KK flats). Round the subject there are situated further tinier subjects there designed for utilization by seniors, but for those who are still active. Subject is brick, founded on continuous footing and spreading slab. Roof structure is constructed of wooden bearing rafter framework which is, in case of main object, designed with central binding rafter and collar roof in case of north and south wing. Subject is insulated with External Thermal Insulation Composite System, roof is covered by ceramic roof covering in combination with folded sheet metal covering. Main living quarters is situated in first and second above-ground storey of central subject, restaurant with background lie in south wing and wellness available for public as well is situated in north wing. In basement of south wing there is technical background of whole subject situated there as is garage, technical room, service room, bicycle room and storage. Next the kitchen staff background including storages for kitchen lie here.
Residential Building - Lesná

The residential building is located in Brno,local part Lesná. The building is designed on a corner place between the streets Dřínová and Tomečkova. The proposal consists of two buildings. Their height arrangement is designed so as to cast a shadow each other or the surrounding buildings. North object exceeds the southern. Mass is based on the efforts to achieve the greatest sunlit room. It is also designed so as to obtain the greatest intimacy on balconies. Balconies also highlight the horizontal breakdown of volume. Residential complex contains thirty different flats floor space and type. The flats are arranged on the axis of north - south, with all habitable rooms are located to the south. In this solution, care was taken and the sunscreening system. It is an outdoor blinds, whose appearance gives the shape of a house. When the proposal was based on the objective of linking objects with the nature of what was to maximize greening space. This helps the inner block, which is used for rest and relaxation. There is also a small cafe designed with outdoor seating. At the same time the grass roof of the smaller objects, when viewed from the upper floors blend into their environment.
Apartment building for seniors

This bachelor’s thesis deals with residence for seniors, whose are self-dependent and they don’t need care service all the time. The building plot is located in city district Brno – Řečkovice in area of apartments and single-family houses. Next to the east side of land is main road and it has gently sloupe toward west where is garden which own local kindergarten. There is also short distance to the city where you can go by public transport otherwise transport by car is also possible by one way road Družstevní street connected to main road Terezy Novákové street. West side of building plot has green space including semi-private garden with gazebo. The building itself is designed as a separate five-storey basement building with a flat roof. The construction of the building is composed of a transverse wall system with skeleton elements and a monolithic reinforced concrete ceiling structure. The design solution is based on deformed rectangle, which divides it on independent sections. South part of building has a café, northern part has space for rent 2 offices and in the central area is entrance to the main residential section. In the basement there are storage rooms and parking spaces. Residential units are on the 2nd to 5th floor including communal room with terrace. The facade is designed in simple beige plaster, complemented by steel construction with climbing plants.

The bachelor thesis aims at the topic of living in small spaces with respect to functional and full-blown living. In the theoretical part, the author provides an overview of knowledge about the given topic. The author focuses on the functions and division of the living area, basic requirements and norms, recent trends, as well as arrangement components used in small living spaces. The practical part consists of a design of a studio for specific clients, prepared according to their demands and their needs. The design was created in compliance with the outlined theory. The outcome of the work is a series of visualisations created by the graphical program 3DS Max and the description of the designs logic.
Multifunctional Building Brno

Multifunctional house is situated on the corner of Letní street and Táborská street in Brno - Židenice. The building has four upper floors and two underground floors. The residential part is located on the second, third and fourth floor. Flats of two categories - one-room flats and maisonettes are accessible via an outdoor staircase from the porch or corridor. Public amenities, located on the first and the part of the second floor is designed in the form of rentable space accessible separately from the outside. Different functions are visually distinctive on the facade. Dynamics and variability of facades allow sliding perforated panels, and facilities bringing the life into the area are provided by freely accessible courtyard and vines growing on the porch.
