Bargain, Marion ; Martínek, Milan (advisor) ; Nováková, Tereza (referee)
Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a patient after a Cuboid Fracture Objectives: The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to address my patient's diagnosis after he had an occupational accident, and to describe the physiotherapeutic processes that led to his rehabilitation. X-Ray imaging undertaken just after his accident showed that the plantar and proximal edge of the cuboid of his left foot were broken off, as well as the lamella with decalcification. Main objective is to gain theoretical background/knowledge and processing of a case report of a patient after Cuboid fracture Methods: This thesis report, written by myself, under my professor's supervision, is divided into two main parts: The general part and the case study. The general part details all aspects of Cuboid bone fracture. It highlights important information on characteristics, pathology, epidemiology, and its pathokinesiological consequences for the musculoskeletal system. It also provides detailed research information on its examination and physiotherapeutic methods, procedures and prognosis and the effect of therapeutic approaches and procedures at the high level of Evidence Based Medicine (EBM). The second part of the report details the case study I conducted at Centrum Léčby Pohybového Aparátu (CLPA) during my clinical...

Title: Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Pacient after II.-V. Metatarsal Fracture Aim: The aim of the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is to summarize theoretical knowledge about foot fractures. The aim of the practical part is to process the patient's case report after the II.-V. metatarsal fracture. Method: The bachelor thesis consists of two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes theoretical knowledge about kinesiology of the foot, traumatology and subsequent rehabilitation care of the foot area. The practical part is devoted to the case report of the patient after the II.-V. metatarsal fracture. It includes the initial kinesiological analysis, a short-term and long-term physiotherapeutic plan, the description of individual therapeutic units, the final kinesiological analysis and the overall evaluation of the effect of the conducted therapy. The case report was prepared within the framework of continuous professional practice in CLPA. Results: A significant improvement in the patient's health was observed after the eight therapeutic sessions. In particular, there was a reduction in swelling and pain, an increase in range of motion, an increase in muscle strength and also an improvement in the gait and overall stability. Key words: physiotherapy, case...

The anatomy and kinesiology of pectoral girdle and upper extremity, general theory of fractures and the solutions to it are all discussed, as well as miscellaneous ways to treat a fracture, most of them being done by an operation. In the end, the ways of rehabilitating with a fracture that are commonly used are stated. The other part is a casuistry of the patient O. N. with diagnosis state after the fracture of the proximal part of the humerus resolved by the ostheosynthesis. This special part is based on working with the patient for more than two weeks in Oblastní nemocnice Kladno (Regional Hospital Kladno) from 20th January 2011 to 3rd February 2011....

The theoretical part of my bachelor thesis is processed anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the hip joint and the proximal femur. Another chapter consists of the distribution of fractures of the proximal femur, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and socio-economic aspects. The final chapter provides physiotherapy and their use in the postoperative period.
