The building is based on reinforced concrete foundation strips, vertical construction is masonry designed of sand-lime blocks and horizontal structure is designed of prefabricated rib-and-filler floor. The heating system of the building is designed with air to water heat pump connected to the hot water cylinder for the hot domestic water with the storage tank for the floor heating. The house is mechanically ventilated by air conditioning unit with heat recovery. Part of the sloping roof are photovoltaic panels connected to the storage batteries and auxiliary heat source which is part of the hot water cylinder. The house reusing rainwater as utility water for flushing toilets, laundry, watering the garden and the rest of the water is accumulated to the underground storage tank. The family house is designed with the aim of creating a comprehensive building concept with zero energy consumption.
MODETA JIHLAVA
Antonova, Alina ; Vojtová, Lea (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis was to develop an architectural-urbanistic study of the revitalization of a textile factory for the needs of Jihlava Zoo. The aim is revitalization of the main building, including the entire area of the former textile factory, which includes the following main requirements - traffic solutions, parking expansion, building supply solutions, adaptation of the existing production building to the needs of the ZOO, namely the creation of a winter exhibition, a night world and educational elements. Within the main building, accommodation, restaurants and congress halls must be created, as well as green space in the area. As part of the design, elements must be created to help manage water and create a quality microclimate. The design includes the economic and energy concept of the building. The campus should function not only as a pleasant environment but also as an economically beneficial object. The proposed solution divides the entire building into several parts - ZOO, accommodation and corresponding equipment, rooms for rent, outdoor attractive elements.
Energy Efficient Building of a Family House
Palátová, Zuzana ; Wierzbická, Helena (referee) ; Vendlová, Lucie (advisor)
This balechor’s thesis deals with a project of newly designed nearly-zero energy building in Hrachovec. It has two parts – first part presents documentation for building permission which contains drawings, fire safety design, building physics, energy performance certificate and the second part deals with design of building services which contains concept design of all systems. The building has two storeys, rectangular shape, strip foundations, ceramic mansory walls and gabled roof extending over a carport on one side. The ground storey can be entered from carport.
