iPhone Application for Number Plate Recognition

This thesis talks about theoretical and practical side of development of application for Apple iPhone mobile cell phone and for its operating system called iOS. In theoretical part are contained informations about history of this device, about tools for creating application for this mobile platform and there is shortly sketched procedure and process how the application is deployed into the phone. Next part deals with the licence number plates, their signification and integrity restrictions. Main core of whole thesis is a practical part about creation and implementation mobile application for recognition of that number plates with supporting of built-in camera and its consecutive text representation or manipulation with that data. In the final part there is a review of results which this application brings after testing and experimenting in different conditions.

Application for the Camera Image Editing for Android

In this thesis I dealt with creation of application for editing image from camera. Apliacation is for operating system Android. Aim was to study possibilities of image editing and of creating applications for platform Android. And next aim was to use discovered informations to develop application. Problem was solved by creating of framework for platform Android for image editing. This framework was used for develope application. Framework provides visual components useful for creation application GUI. Created application provides extra feature to create a custom effect by composition of filters from OpenCV library. Output is Android application and poster demonstrating the application. Next output is framework making development of applications for image editing easier. Framework contains also documentation with description of framework and instructions for use.

Photo Booth

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to design and implement a Photo Booth application which will be primarily used on tablet devices. The thesis explains existing solutions, analyses its insufficiencies and concentrates on the choice of appropriate technology resources. It also describes the way of implementation of the external payment processing with the usage of a private virtual server and following communication with database. Constituent part of this work is a design of user interface. The outcome is a functional prototype of the application ready to be used.

The Use of Photogrammetry in the Real Estate Practice

This diploma thesis aims to explore possibilities of using IT in real estate and projection practice. It deals with simplification of difficult or insolvable tasks. It focuses on rapidly developing field of photogrammetry and its further processing via software. The work presents methods of measurement of existing realties without using standard methods (tape line, laser). Instead of these tools, the author uses photographic data and program PhotoModeler for surveying and creating a 3D model of the facade. The thesis verifies further serviceability of gained data up to the render phase of the surveyed building facade.

Object of this bachelor thesis is design of digital camera. Design is based on technological and contsructional foundations of products on market. When I was made this proposal I was focused on ergonomy and aesthetic conception that I was thinking on customer.

FUJIFILM S6500fd Digital Cameras Simulator and Trainer

The primary objective of this Bachelors thesis is to create a simulator of the FUJIFILM S6500fd camera. The simulator was executed using Flash and the ActionScript programming language. The application is meant to be used as a teaching tool at the University of the Third Age, as it provides explanations of basic photographic terms, including graphic examples. Furthermore, the process of creating Flash applications is described in detail, and the wide range of their use is discussed at length. Additionally, the thesis contains a manual that outlines the instructions on how to use the camera.
