Dynamic competitive balance of the highest football leagues in selected European countries

Title: Dynamic competitive balance of the highest football leagues in selected European countries. Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to identify the dynamic competitive balance in the first and second leagues in selected European countries and to outline their development trend. The first sub-objective of the thesis is to compare the dynamic competitive balance of the investigated competitions with each other. The second sub-objective of the thesis is to compare the results of dynamic competitive balance with those obtained by the static method of competitive balance. Methods: This thesis calculates dynamic competiitve balance using the Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: The results show that the first leagues are usually less balanced than the second highest leagues. The result also shows that the first leagues reports an increasing tendency of competitive imbalance. The only exception is the top Polish league. On the other hand, most of the second leagues reports a decreasing tendency of competitive imbalance. The exceptions are the second Spanish and Polish leagues. The Portuguese second league appears to be the most evenly balanced competition, followed by the Spanish second league. The least balanced leagues are the First Dutch League and the First English League....

Title: Competitive Balance of the selected football leagues in Europe, their development and comparison. Goals: Determining the competitive balance in the six top European football competitions. This is a Czech Gambrinus liga, Dutch Eredivisie, German Bundesliga, Austrian Bundesliga, Ukrainian Premier liha Hungarian OTP liga, compare to competition and an outline of the development trend. Methods: The standard deviation of percentage wins, correlation coefficient, the presentation of results based on percentages, graphs, trends. Results: All results are presented in the analytical part of the work, verify predetermined hypotheses and are an important source of comparison for each event and outline trends. Title: The perception of VAR technology by fans of Prague first league football teams Objectives: The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to find out, by means of marketing research, how fans of Prague's first league football teams perceive the current functioning of VAR technology in the football environment. Methods: In this thesis quantitative methods of data collection were used. It was a survey. The questionnaire was published electronically. The results were captured using graphs and tables. Results: Based on the information obtained from the respondents, it became clear that the vast majority of respondents perceived VAR technology positively. Title: The dependence of the amount of revenue of the highest ranking football leagues based on the ranking of countries according to the UEFA club coefficient. Objectives: In its work, the main aim was to examine the correlation between the amount of income of the highest football leagues and the countries' rankings on the UEFA club coefficient ladder. Shall the correlation be proven, further aims of its work would be description and quantification of the correlation. One of the side aims is the analysis of the nowadays football phenomena and proving its worldwide significance. Methods: In its work, publicly available data (professional literature, annual reports, statistical yearbooks) was analysed. On the basis of the data collection and analysis, the data was compiled and compared with each other in order to follow trends and create thorough conclusions. On the basis of the correlation between the monitored indicators, these correlations were measured. For the purposes of the correlation measurement, the statistical method of regression analysis was used.
