Venture Capital in Supporting Innovative Start-Ups in the Czech Republic

Innovation entrepreneurship is built not only on a quality idea, but also on the availability of start-up capital and management skills of the idea owner. The insufficient finance often limits the success and growth potential of start-ups. When seeking support to individual business plans, allowing for entry of a business angel could be an option. Business angels are private, mostly experienced investors who invest in SMEs with high growth potential not only financial capital, but also business know-how, contacts and management experience. Thesis evaluates possibilities to use venture capital offered by business angels to support innovative start-ups and on several case studies assesses readiness of innovation and business environment from the investors’ point of view.
Contemporary Possibilities of Financing Construction of a House in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with the description of the business plan whose main aim is the establishment of an organic poultry eco-farm. The theoretical part specifies the various stages of the business plan and analyzes the current status of organic farms in the Czech Republic. The practical part focuses on the business plan of the establishment of poultry farm and mainly on its creation and there is also the analysis of possible funding from the EU Structural Funds.

This thesis analyzes the implementation of the budget of the village Slatina and serves as a basis for a proposal to improve its economical status as well as the environmental issues. The first part contains theoretical basis for understanding of the functioning and financing of the village, the second part includes acquaintance with the municipality, the municipal budget performance analysis in the selected period 2008 - 2011 and the analysis of forecast budget for the period 2012 - 2014. The last part is a proposal for collection and processing of biodegradable municipal waste and calculation of its benefits.
Optimalization of Municipality Financing

The goal of my dissertation, on the theme financing optimization, is to find out the needs of dwellers in town Žďár nad Sázavou. On the basis of my results I will suggest new financing solutions according to town budget expenditure. Partial target is to analyse income and expenditure budget of Žďár nad Sázavou and its fulfilment. My dissertation is divided into three parts theoretical, analytical and practical. The first part specifies crucial terms and principles related to studied points at issue. In the second part is analysed financial management for the past five years. In the last part are suggested solutions for separated activities in Žďár nad Sázavou according to questionnaire survey. Conclusion consists of synthesis and final summaries of detected information and deficits in financial management in Žďár nad Sázavou.

A partial draft variations to funding pre-school education and then evaluate the most beneficial method of financing. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of basic concepts related to business in the field, together with the possibility of setting up ,null, the financing of kindergartens. In the practical part deals with specific business plan - the establishment of private kindergartens Lupínek and evaluating the best financing options , as well as to determine whether it is a viable business plan .

The thesis starts by introducing the theoretical knowledge which is followed by analysis of the status quo. Finally, it elaborates concrete proposal for financing of large investment project in a small village. The results should help municipal council to realize the possibilities of municipal budget in the implementation of extensive investments and as the basis for decision making of the method of financing.
