Optimalizace výživy a krmení v chovu dojeného skotu

This master thesis focuses on factors affecting the quality of the diet in dairy cows and its relation with milk production. On the analysed farm breeding Holstein cattle, the feed rations are evaluated in terms of diet composition and optimal supply of energy and nutrients for milk production. The diet composition during the followed period and its optimisation, diet analyses and metabolic tests of the cattle are evaluated in this work.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the nutrition of dairy cows during lactation. There is characterized feeding of dairy cows in the whole meantime. Work contains of recommended feed rations with optimum amount nutrients during phases of lactacion. A brief description is also given to the nutrients, feeds and diseases caused by incorrect nutrition.

This thesis deals with the technology of feeding and pig's nutrition in the fattening. The work is focused on determining the ideal content of necessary nutrients in the feed ratio and also on the suitability of using of different types of feed with regard to the economy and performance of pigs. The work presents a real example of the design of the feed ratio of fattened pigs, including the feed curve and the composition of the feed recipe. Furthermore feeding systems used so far, but also newly introduced and factors that affect the performance parameters in in fattening pigs are described.

Thesis is devoted to the analysis of the competition of indexable cutting inserts, which are used for turning at lower cutting widths of the blade than the tip radius. Thesis is an analysis of five indexable cutting inserts from diferent companies. Furthermore the chip breakers of selected inserts are compared and finally the testing of the insert and its results based on metal chip shapes are described.

This bachelor thesis evaluates the composition and apparent digestibility of various types of fish feed and various ingredients applicable to the feeding of common carp. This bachelor thesis also evaluates the suitability of individual components based on the digestibility of individual nutrients. The results show that the right combination of fish feed improves efficiency, reduces feed consumption and increases growth. Last but not least, the negative impact of feeding on the quality of the aquatic environment should be reduced. This bachelor thesis summarizes existing digestibility values of individual feed ingredients for common carp and then its own experiment, which was very time- consuming. Some already known values have been confirmed and some new information about the content of individual components of feed and their subsequent use has been found. The results for wheat and maize were compared with results of other authors. Triticale, daphnia and chironomidae larvae were used for the first time, so the values could not be compared, nevertheless it could be used as a basic information for further research in this area. The average content of individual cereal parameters were: 16% protein content and 64% digestibility, 2% fat content and 70% digestibility, 74% BNLV content and 74% digestibility. Fiber content 5% and ash content 2% with very low digestibility. Phosphorus content 0.6% and digestibility 30%. Average content of individual parameters for natural foods was: protein content 55% and digestibility 86%, fat content 5% and digestibility 74%, BNLV 20% and digestibility 41 %, fiber content 7% and digestibility 8%, ash content 14% and digestibility 30%, phosphorus content 1.2% and 74% digestibility. The resulting element was to determine the most suitable feed for pond aquaculture. According to the available results, wheat combined with natural food is the best option. Wheat is very energy rich, but has a low protein content. Conversely, natural food is energy rich in easily usable protein. The optimal ratio of natural food to wheat was 0.25:2. With this ratio we can meet the ideal nutritional requirements of common carp (31% digestible protein, 0.6-0.7 % phosphorus, 3200 kcal?kg-1 digestible energy). With the right feed, we are able to reduce the negative impact on water quality and this is one of the main goals for the future.

This thesis deals with the Nutrition of sport horses. It is divided in 4 parts. First part is dedicated to digestive system and physiology of horses; next chapter describes the importance of individual macronutrients, vitamins and mineral substances. Third part informs about particular feed. Last chapter is the most comprehensive part expanding the basic knowledge about horses and specifically describes the equine nutrition of young sport horses and sport horses focused on show jumping. Last but not least, this chapter describes required care, feeding technique, balanced nutrition and training plan.
PCR detection of genetically modified soybean in food and feed

The aim of this thesis was to summarize in the theoretical part the issue of genetic modifications and their main use. Another task was to describe various methods used for detection of genetically modified plant products and their properties. The practical part is focused on the isolation of DNA from various foods and feeds containing soy. Using the PCR method, samples were tested for the presence of soy DNA, the CaMV promoter, and the Roundup resistance transgene. A total of 42 samples were tested and 5 of them contained transgenic soy.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to focus on the control of dairy cow´s nutrition in the agricultural company because nutrition is the most important factor in the proces of milk production. The search deals with the way and technique of feeding in every single phase of lactation. This part of the bachelor thesis describes voluminous and salty feed as well as their usability in feeding dose and their nutritional qualities. The race "Holštýn", it´s characteristics and need of nutrients in nutrition is also mentioned in the thesis. The main part of the thesis is to introduce Penn state particle separator (2002), which has been used for the control of feeding in the farms. This part characterizes it´s utilization in place, the method of application, evaluation of feeding dose with it´s influence on dairy cow´s health and efficiency. The results have been compared to the standard determined for separator as well as evaluated in view of the milk yield and milk components. The thesis contents a series of trials made over the observed period,which is evaluated in the conclusion of the thesis, and the influence of feeding dose´s structure on dairy cow´s efficiency and health.

The theoretical part of the thesis entitled "Accuracy of loading into a hanging horizontal feed wagon" deals with the historical development of feed administration of cattle and currently used trends in feeding. The diploma part also describes the basic technology of production of bulky and fodder fodder, there is also a modern technology for their distribution, characteristics and the way of loading individual components of the ration, which also includes the evaluation of loading of individual components. The thesis also deals with the choice of mixing feed wagon. The practical part is focused on the evaluation of loading accuracy into the hanging horizontal feed wagon.
