Vliv struktury krmných směsí na parametry metabolismu pomalu rostoucích kuřat
Čumplík, Lukáš
This diploma thesis deals with the influence of the structure of feed mixtures on the metabolism parameters of slow-growing broilers. The issue of this topic was documented in the literature review. In the experimental part, an experiment was described regarding the determination of the influence of the structure of feed mixtures on nitrogen retention, ileal digestibility, parameters of organs of the digestive tract, histomorphometric parameters and the structure of feces. For research purposes, 120 slow-growing Hubbard JA 57 broilers were fattened for 49 days. During the fattening period, all broilers were fed feed mixtures identical in terms of nutrients, they differed only in the structure of the feed. 3 different textures were created - fine, medium and coarse. The feed mixtures were sieved through a system of sieves to determine the proportion of particle sizes. The influence of the structure of the feed mixtures on nitrogen retention was statistically significant difference (P<0.05) in the BR3 feed mixture, when it was shown that coarse particles have a positive effect on nitrogen retention. The results were not statistically significant for the BR2 feed mixture (P>0.05). When investigating the influence of the structure of the feed mixtures on the parameters of the organs of the digestive tract, a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) was found in the height of the muscle of the gizzard. For the other investigated parameters, the results were not statistically significant (P>0.05). Regarding the histomorphometric measurement, a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) was observed between the coarse feed mixture and the ratio of the length of the villi and the depth of the crypts in the duodenum and the depth of the crypts in the ileum. At the same time, it was evaluated as a statistically significant difference (P<0.05) between the structure of the feed and the structure of the droppings.

PAPOUŠKOVÁ, Tereza
The aim of this diploma thesis was to compile a literature review of the general breeding of Japanese quails and to perform an experiment to determine whether a selected combination of beneficial bacteria will have a positive effect on feed conversion, growth and health of Japanese quails. A total of 79 pieces of Japanese meat-type quails were included in the experiment, of which 27 were placed in the experimental groups and the remaining 52 were in the control groups. The Energys Křepelka Mini brand was fed to these groups throughout the breeding period. Immediately after hatching and every 7 days thereafter, all animals were weighed and these data were recorded. Data on the daily feed consumption of the individual groups were also recorded throughout the experiment. The results were subsequently derived from all acquired data. It was proved that the combination of probiotics chosen by us did not have a demonstrable effect on the monitored parameters. Possible reasons for these results are discussed in more detail in the Results and Discussion chapter.

ROHÁČEK, Daniel
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate fattening parameters and carcass value of pigs at a particular agriculture company. Parameters of fattening were monitored in terms of farms, i.e., farm N (84 fattening cycles) and farm M (93 fattening cycles) and in terms of year, i.e., the years 2018-2020. The initial live weight of pigs in the farm N was 24.8 kg, in the farm M was 23.0 kg (p < 0.05). The final live weight in the farm N was 115.2 kg. However, in the farm M the final live weight was higher, namely 117.3 kg (p < 0.05). The average daily gain in the farm N was 979 g, but in the farm M was 10 g lower. Feed mixture consumption per 1 kg of weight gain was almost identical in both farms. In the farm N the feed consumption was 2.34 kg and in the farm M was 2.33 kg. Feed mixture consumption per day in the farm N was 2.29 kg, in the farm M was 2.25 kg (p < 0.05). The mortality in the farm N was 1.57%. However, mortality in the farm M was higher, namely 1.99% (p < 0.05). Total of 2 498 carcasses from the farm N and 2 771 carcasses from the farm M were used for evaluation of the carcass value. Subsequently, the average carcass weight in the farm N was determined at 88.5 kg with 58,1% proportion of lean meat. The average carcass weight in the farm M was 93.2 kg with 57,7% proportion of lean meat (p < 0.05). Most of the carcasses from both farms were ranked in the grading class E (farm N - 71.0%, farm M - 71.7%). 17,7% of carcasses from the farm N and 14.2% carcasses from the farm M were classified in class S. Finally, most of the carcasses from the farm N were classified in the weight category 80-89.9 kg and in the case of the farm M the most carcasses were classified in the weight category 90-99.9 kg.

HAMPLOVÁ, Michaela
This bachelor thesis is dealing with the weight gains and slaughter yield of chosen meat breeds of rabbits in home breeding. Decisive factor for having a rabbit as a source of high-quality meat, fur and leather is mainly nourishment and feeding. The most suitable method is using of feeding mixture by categories. The main purpose of fattening is profit of rabbits ready for slaughter in the shortest time. Meat with the highest quality is obtaining from young animals that are slaughtered at the age of 3 to 4 months. Breeds that had the fastest progress were combination of Big Siamesen and Blue of Vienna with the fattening of 109 days. Rabbits of combination Californian and Blue of Vienna got to slaughter weight at the age of 123 days and the longest progress of fattening lasts for 137 days for the combination of Big Marten and Blue of Vienna. On the other side, it emerged that the most fertile female was Big Marten Rabbit that gave birth and reared the highest number of young animals. The average slaughter yield of all litters ranged between 52 to 58%. The best slaughter yield value reached rabbits of combination of Big Marten and Blue of Vienna that went up to 57.05%.
