Ingrová, A. The evaluation of customer satisfaction with fast-food in Brno. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2017. The bachelor thesis is occupied with the evaluation of customer satisfaction with fast-food in Brno. The first part of the thesis is theoretical, in which the knowledge related to marketing research, customer behaviour and customer satisfaction are summarized. After that the methods of processing and analysing data are described. In the practical part of the thesis, the gathered data are analysed and this starts with the analysis of respondents subsequently the analysis of the attendance, of the popularity and mainly the evaluation of customer satisfaction with the factors at six most popular and known fast-foods in Brno. In conclusion the interpretation of results is done, the discussion is started and the recommendation and suggestion for the direction of the fast-foods in Brno are spoken.

The issue of fast food restaurants in conjunction with the eating habits of grammar school students

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of fastfoods in conjunction with eating habits of grammar school students. The theoretical part summarizes basic informations about factors influencing dietary habits, healthy nutrition, nutrition specifics of juvenile and drinking regime. Furthermore there is outlined the problems of fastfood restaurants, quality of fastfood meals and nutritional value of fastfood meals in two of the largest fastfood chain in the Czech Republic. In practical part are the grafs and charts presenting results of the research. For the research was used a quantitative method.
Fast food consumer´s awareness about the health risks and factors leading to preference for this type of meals

Consumption of fast-food style meals increases the risk of occurrence of health problems that might result in some diseases called lifestyle diseases or diseases of civilization. Frequent fast food consumption and related inadequate eating habits lead to increased morbidity and mortality linked particularly to obesity, diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases and other health problems even from early age. This thesis analyses the problems of eating at fast food restaurants and stands from the point of view of health, proper nutrition and eating habits. The aim of the thesis is to describe objective health risks resulting from regular fast food consumption. Nutritional components and values of fast food meals and their influence on health were described as well as possible risks of development of some lifestyle diseases. The aim of the practical part of the thesis was to map the awareness of health risks resulting from frequent consumption of this kind of food among fast food consumers and the factors that lead them to preference, choice of this kind of nutrition instead of rational nutrition. The research was performed by means of qualitative data collection methods observation of the target group consisting of visitors of fast food restaurants and stands and the method of structured interview with selected fast food consumers. The research was performed with fifteen respondents selected by random selection method. The data collection results were subject to content analysis. The results have shown that Czech fast food consumers are informed on health risks like obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension and gastrointestinal problems caused by frequent fast food consumption and they are aware of the negative nutritional aspects of this type of diet, particularly high content of fat, salt and sugar. The research result have also shown that Czech fast food consumers do not prefer fast food to rational nourishment. If they eat fast food, it is because of haste and lack of time and when they feel they have no other possibility. The consumers prefer fast food when they have real appetite or when they are in a foreign town or country. Social factors have also proven to have influence on fast food consumption. Eating at fast food restaurants with friends is particularly popular among teenagers and children, who even go to fast food restaurants to play, celebrate birthdays etc. The observation results have shown that location of fast food operations have no essential influence on attendance, type of consumers and the factors affecting consumption of this kind of food.
McDonaldization of Czech Society

The general framework of this work is an infliction of a present phenomenon ? McDonalization in Czech society. The theoretical part deals with McDonalization, as such, its causes, development and its consequences that can be found in our nearest surroundings. The first part of the work deals with the concepts prior to this like rationalization process, scientific management and the assembly line as Ritzer stated in his book The Mcdonaldization of Society. Furthermore I am focusing on the lifestyle and values which people have today. The paper tries to find and highlight the consequences arising from the contemporary life of mostly young people visiting McDonald´s and similar fast-food restaurants. It outlines projects seeking to change this trend and points to the risks that arise from this trend. In the next part of the work I identify the relationship of people eating in McDonald´s to the responsibility for the upbringing of children and youth, not only in healthy eating. I also present my own project that represents an ordinary devotee of this group, where I try to demonstrate the current state of society and the way of educating young people. In the conclusion of the work I point possible different lifestyles. And I also outline possible sources where you can find an inspiration for keeping and upbringing children.
Quality of fastfood services

This thesis is concerned with quality of fast food services. The theoretical part deals with the services and service quality issues. The theoretical part includes the Czech and European legislative regulation of food. Orders discuss about minimum requirements for safety of food, a good manufacturing and hygienic practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point. Also there is presented the selected provider of fast food and its definition of critical points. The aim was to determine customer satisfaction with the services of selected foodservice. Certain hypotheses which were determined will be confirmed or refuted by the research. The practical part deals with analysis of customer satisfaction and will include an evaluation of this analysis.
The Fastfood Diet Problem

This thesis is based on the theory of mathematical programming, on the fastfood diet problem in particular. The aim is to find an optimal menu with accordance to nutritional limitations for various groups of fastfood customers and with minimal overall prize. This model is applied on the group of foods and beverages offered in selected fastfood chains in the Czech Republic.
