Porovnání technik zaměřených na ošetření měkkých tkání ve fyzioterapii koní
MACHOVÁ, Radka
The bachelor thesis deals with the comparison of techniques focused on soft tissue treatment. The Dorn method, T-Touch and fascial chain treatment method were analyzed. Monitoring was performed on 9 horses and subluxations, blockades and tensions and the influence of the used methods on their removal were monitored.
Manual techniques based on the theory of fascial chains
Saifrová, Tereza ; Nováková, Tereza (advisor) ; Vomáčková, Helena (referee)
Title: Manual techniques based on the theory of fascial chains Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to summerize academic findings and information about anatomy, histology, neurophysiology and biomechanical properties of fascial tissue from the latest research and studies in the theoretical part. Analytical and descriptive part is firstly focused on principles of tissue remodeling, mechanism of myofascial therapy effects and on diagnostic methods which are available for evaluation of structure, properties and function of fascia. The main goal is to describe and compare different diagnostic and therapeutic approaches of most known authors based on various theories of fascial chains. Another important purpose of this work is to demonstrate the objective effect of particular fascial techniques and manual therapies. Methods: This thesis is theoretical work with the purpose of summerizing, organizing and analyzing relevant studies related to the topic through the literary research in available academic databases. Results: The key information concerning structure and properties of fascial tissue have been collected and analyzed according to the latest fascial researches. This thesis describes three best known and widely used approaches which concern the theory of fascial chains and practical outfall...
The influence of therapy with flossing tape to range of motion and fascia chains in lower extermities.
Pisarčík, Ján ; Malá, Jitka (advisor) ; Pavlů, Dagmar (referee)
Diploma thesis title: Influence of tissue flossing therapy on the range of motion and fascial chains in the lower limbs. Objectives: The main objective is to present theoretical facts about tissue flossing therapy, to document the effect of this method on the active range of motion in the lower limbs and to investigate whether this increase in movement can be achieved by influencing fascial chains in distant parts of the musculoskeletal system. Methods: The research was completed by 30 recreational or high-level athletes aged 19 to 26 years. Initial testing and subsequent treatment of the ankle joint and surrounding fascial structures were done using the tissue flossing technique. The initial tests consisted of a weight- bearing lunge test to test the dorsal flexion of the ankle joint and a Thomayer test to test the range of motion within the fascial superficial back line. Treatment of both ankle joints and surrounding fascial structures on both lower limbs was followed by final testing. The resulting data were processed using mathematical software R. A paired t-test, a two-sample t-test for independent selections assuming different variables and a test of the agreement of the fraction with a known constant were used to calculate the p-values. Statistical significance was determined at the critical...
