Comparison of the success rate of an attack depending on the quality of the set in the German 1. Bundesliga with the Czech Extraliga in volleyball

Title: Comparison of spike success depending on the quality of the set in German 1. Bundesliga with Czech Extraliga volleyball. Objectives: The aim of this study is to determine how in setting in volleyball contributes to the success of the attack in the 1st German Bundesliga. According to the statistical results found, create a formula to evaluate the success of the setter and then compare the German and Czech top competitions in volleyball and analyze any differences and find the causes of these differences. Methods: The thesis used the analysis of video footage of the matchs, which is a source of interest data. This data was subsequently recorded in tables, processed using statistical methods and expressed verbally and using graphs. Results: The work found out how the set affects the success rate of the attack, which recording has the highest probability to score a point and which, in turn, has the lowest. At the same time, the results of the Czech Extraliga and the German Bundesliga were compared. Finally, a formula was created to evaluate the setters based on thein performance. The use of foreign players in Czech extraleague baseball

Title: The use of foreign players in Czech extraleague baseball Objectives: The thesis aims to determine the contribution of foreign players who were active in the Czech baseball extraleague at the game and club level for the seasons 2015-2020. The diploma thesis compares the effectiveness of game performance of foreign players with Czech players. Conducting statistical analysis can show how many foreign players were on individual teams, and how effective they are for the team. Methods: The thesis analyzes secondary data obtained from the information system of the Czech Baseball Association and data collected by the baseball-stat web portal. Furthermore, semi-structured interviews were conducted with representatives of six Extraleague clubs. The number of foreign players in 2015-2020 and their national composition was examined. Central to the thesis were statistics such as Wins Above Replacement (WAR), Number of innings pitched (IP), Earned run average (ERA) and Batting average (BA). Results: In conclusion, the thesis analyzes secondary sources compared with an analysis of interviews with representatives of Extraleague clubs. The incidency of injury among men players in the highest floorball league during years 2014-2019

The topic of this diploma thesis is the description of injury rate at floorball in the men's highest competition within the years 2014-2019. The work consists of theoretical and practical part. The rules of floorball, the popularity, and unions (federations) of this sport in our country and abroad, the concept of the season and the characteristics of the player's movement, including muscle imbalances are described in the theoretical part. A general division of sports injuries and a description of the most common injuries at floorball is a part of theory, as well as their prevention, registration, and treatment. In addition to contact with another person, glasses, shoes, the surface, the age of the player and, in the case of goalkeepers, knee protectors can influence injuries at this indoor sport. Further the method of educating coaches in the Czech Republic and the content of a seminar on compensation, which is presented to coaches at trainings, is also described there. The practical part is focused on the collection of injury rate data from paper and electronic records from matches in the seasons from 2014/2015 to 2018/2019. Dependence between TV Ratings and the Size of Membership base in Selected Team Sports

Title: Dependency between TV Ratings and the Size of Membership base in Selected Team Sports Objectives: The main goal of this work is to identify the dependencies between the TV ratings of highest male competition of selected sports (basketball, floorball, handball and volleyball) and the membership base from 2008 to 2014. Partial task is to chart the development of membership bases of selected sports and TV ratings of the highest men competitions. Methods: This thesis uses the linear regression analysis, graphical residual values and Pearson correlation coefficient and its statistical testing. These analysis are applied on the acquiered data on TV ratings and membership bases. In the reported period, we search for the dependency based on the Pearson correlation coefficient and its statistical test. Results: The models of linear regression for basketball, volleyball and handball show negative trend. The model obtained for basketball did not even pass the statistical test. For floorball the strenght of linkage was medium and positive. Therefore it is not suitable to use these models for description of the mentioned dependency. Analysis of Attendance in Czech Ice Hockey Extraliga

The aim of this Master's thesis is to find, describe and analyse factors influencing the audience demand for Czech ice hockey extraliga matches and on the basis of the observed facts to try to suggest conceivable measures to increase such demand. There are especially mathematical and statistical methods widely applied in the practical part of the thesis. Particularly, arithmetic averages, correlation analyses and various kinds of specific coefficients are used. Average attendances and significance of individual factors are evaluated using the method of comparison, namely its factual, temporal as well as spatial form. The main contribution of this thesis consists mainly in the current mapping of the extraleague club fans' opinions and attitudes through the implementation of the comprehensive on-line survey whose results are contained in individual paragraphs.

The effect of "Propriofoot method" on knee joint stabilization in women professional softball

This thesis is focused on knee joint instability. This issue is the most discussed theme in professional sport in context of knee injuries. The claims on knee biomechanics are enlarging natures and it leads in knee injuries and all structures of it. Knee joint is considered as the most difficult joint in human body. Knee joint consist of three bones femur, tibia and patella. Their surfaces creates femur - tibial and femur patellar joints. This bachelor thesis is aimed on knee injuries problematic, especially on knee instability, which is common in women softball players in extraleague. Theoretical part describes the history of softball, its specific nature, predilection places and different reasons of softball injuries. The thesis shows the amount of demands in stabilization of knee joint during the spin movements of whole knee joint and subsequent ballast of whole body affecting knee joint. The main task of this thesis was to create a specific list of strengthening and stabilizing exercises. The exercises was given to two groups of woman softball players. First group was orientated on strengthening muscles of knee joint with special aid from "Propriofoot Concept". The second group was working with aid called "čočka". Special exercises (SSC) was part of common training during winter set up before the season and particulary in three months period (January to March). The next aim was to compare the effectivity of methods of both groups. Practical part was utilized by quantitative method. The researched set of extraleague softball players was between 18 22 years old. For a good quality output was accomplished my supervision during one exercise. Women have to practise three times a week. I made a supervisor during the exercise for once a week. SSC had about 15 - 20 minutes. This bachelor thesis can be used as a material for coaches, fitness trainers, physiotherapist and for players also. This work can be used also for baseball players because of lots of similarities.

The success of shooting in the Czech Extraleague Handball in season 2010/2011.

This thesis analyses the successful of shooting in the highest Czech handball competition - Extraleague Men, in season 2010/2011. The analysis was realized by watching video recordings which were taken during the basic part of the competition. Besides the monitoring of the total success of these teams, we focused on components of the attack on the overall success and, for example, on shooting from the perspective of post player or shooting methods. The data were processed into graphs and commented.

Péče o diváka v extralize ledního hokeje

Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat prostředí extraligy ledního hokeje v oblasti péče o diváky. Pro splnění tohoto cíle bylo stanoveno několik dílčích úkolů. Teoretická část práce nejprve popisuje marketingový mix modifikovaný pro sportovní kluby. Dále práce popisuje teorii finančních systémů a její aplikaci na prostředí sportovních klubů. Teoretická část se dále věnuje teorii competitive balance a teorii poptávky a jejímu využití pro sportovní kluby. Praktická část práce sleduje tyto dílčí cíle: analyzovat návštěvnost ELH, analyzovat vyrovnanost ELH, aplikovat marketingový mix na hokejové kluby, provést dotazování zástupců jednotlivých klubů a provést hodnocení klubů ELH podle péče o diváka.
