The role of civic and personal development education in the time of experimentation with personal and sexual identity

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of sexual and gender identity of children and adolescents. It researches the education of children and adolescents with a different gender identity from a philosophical, psychological and sociological point of view and further the role of teachers, parents and society as a whole. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part contains chapters devoted to education and upbringing of children and adolescents with a different gender identity, new perspective on gender identity and the support of individual trans. The practical part focuses on a study that examines the attitude of teachers, parents and students towards transgender issues. he aim of the practical part is to map the level of respect for differences from the point of view of teachers, parents and pupils at one secondary vocational school in a district town in the Central Bohemian Region, and further map the views from abroad of three secondary vocational schools. The research is designed as a quantitative- qualitative questionnaire survey at one secondary vocational school and as semi-structured interviews with a teacher, parent and pupil. Specifics of social work for adolescents with drug addiction

This bachelor thesis focuses on the specifics of social work with adolescents with drug addiction. The theoretical part describes the target group, the consequences of drug use, the specifics of drug addiction in adolescents, and the specifics of social work with adolescents with drug addiction, specifically short intervention and motivational training, social counseling, contact work, and prevention. In the empirical part, I try to find out the specifics of social work with adolescents who are threatened by undesirable social phenomena, addictive substances. The research is conducted through semi-structured interviews with staff in low-threshold centers for children and young people who have experience working with adolescents. The result of the work is to identify examples of good practice with the target group from the perspective of social workers in low- threshold centers for children and youth.

ABSTRACT The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether the pupils of the second stage of primary school, specifically the pupils of the 6th grade, are able to experiment independently in the environment of dynamic geometry with a suitably prepared material. The theoretical basis of the work includes the study of the valid intended curriculum of geometry at the second stage of primary school, the relationship of so-called inquiry-oriented teaching to the possibility of student experimentation in learning geometry, the study of pedagogical theories in connection with inquiry education and also in relation to mathematisation, which is in the teaching of mathematics and geometry necessarily required. The student experiment is conceived here as an independent didactic method. From the point of view of the feasibility of the experiment and subsequent research, the environment of dynamic geometry was chosen - the GeoGebra system. TITLE: Orientation in time at kindergarten focusing on the Sun and Moon AUTHOR: Bc. Jana Havlíková DEPARTMENT: SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Micheala Kaslová ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with the development of orientation in time focusing on the Sun and Moon in preschool children as part of the attendance at kindergarten. In the theoretical part, in addition to the definition of the term of time from various disciplines, there is also an outline of the development of perception and measurement of time in terms of both evolutionary and individual development. Many activities in kindergartens are preserved for a long time, however the observation of the sky itself has slowly disappeared from education programs and plans. The practical part is focused on setting up scenarios of individual activities for observing the position of the sun in the sky, the length and direction of the sun's shadow, and the awareness of the alternation of the day with the night and the seasons. All this within the framework of action research, which was implemented in one kindergarten class. Usage of simulation models and software to analyze and improve the process of production company

The diploma thesis deals with simulation of manufacturing of the order for production of 50 pieces of radial fans RFC 200 in company ALTEKO, Inc. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether it is under current conditions feasible to complete the order and deliver goods to customer in time. The order also includes selection of appropriate engine supplier using the methods of multicriteria evaluation of alternatives. The objective of the first three chapters is to familiarize reader with theoretical basis of multiple criteria decision making, simulation models and project management. The fourth part describes the concept of simulation program Simul8. The fifth part provides information about the company ALTEKO, its history and current business running. In the last chapter theoretical knowledge is used to real problem by using the most important tool simulation of manufacturing process. In the simulation current state of the manufacturing process is explored and proposals how to eliminate weak bottle necks of the process using the experimenting with the model. Based on the obtained results the possible solutions which should be helpful for improvement of company´s processes even in case that the order is completed in time will be proposed.

Possibilities of using simulation methods to analyze the production of Czochralski chamber

Simulation is a process that allows evaluation of a system from a comprehensive viewpoint. Thanks to this modern approach it is possible to find weak spots or other problems and solve them in the simulation model before applying the solution in a real situation. In my thesis I will focus on creating a simulation model of the production line of a Czochralski chamber in a specialized software named Simul8. Furthermore, I will deal with analysis of the various processes and the utilization of personnel involved in the production. I will also try to eliminate problems and discrepancies that show up by experimenting with the model. Based on the final results I will create recommendations that could help improve the real situation in the company.
