Mobile Chat for Communication between the Athlete and the Coach

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement a mobile application for Android, that serves to facilitate work of coaches to communicate with their athletes and clients. It is a mobile chat with which coaches are able to provide adequate feedback to their athletes during training. Beginners in area of exercising are able to better understand how to perform each exercise and how they can minimize mistakes during exercising. The application also provides them to store data about their trainings, so they have all the necessary informations in one place, where they can be found very easily.

Gait disorders in Patients with Parkinson's disease

This bachelor thesis deals with problems of the Parkinson's disease (PD). It is an incurable neurodegenerative disorder which is caused by degeneration of pigment cells producing dopamine in the substantia nigra. The lack of dopamine impairs regulating activities of the basal ganglia. That leads to manifestation of the typical symptoms of PD. Knowledge survey briefly describes symptoms, diagnostics and treatment for this disease. This paper focuses on neurolocomotor process, movement control and especially gait disorders which occurs in patients with Parkinson's disease. Problems with walking develops subsequently, progressively limiting patients in their daily activities. Because current medications providing little relieve, physiotherapy plays an important role in ameliorating these symptoms. This thesis describes various physiotherapeutic approaches. It emphasizes necessity of regular exercising which is absolutely essential to slow the progression of the disease and its debilitating effects. Practical part of this work focuses on the efficacy of the therapy on one patient. This man has the typical PD symptoms and freezing and hesitation often happens to him. Stimulation of strength skills through intervention gymnastics program for people with spinal cord impairment

Title: Stimulation of strength skills through intervation gymnastic program for people with spinal cord impairment Objectives: The target of the work is to determine the degree of effectiveness of the newly created gymnastic program mediated to probands online, to the level of strength of the upper body and upper limbs of people with spinal cord injury. Methods: The research will be conducted in the form of a quasi-experiment with pre- testing and post-testing measuring. Used data collection methods included field testing, timed 100m dash in a wheelchair and 2kg weight throw and a questionaire. Analysis of found data has been done via descriptive statistics. Results: Results of post-testing showed that upon completion of a six-week interventional program, individuals with spinal cord impairment increased their strength levels in field tests. In the first field test, there was a slight percentage improvement of 5.9%. In the second field test, there was an overall mean percentage improvement of 10.9%. On average, probands improved by 8.4%, a slight to moderate improvement. The questionaires also showed that the trainees enjoyed the provided program. Title: Dysmenorrhea and its possible treatment by physiotherapy Objectives: The aim of this thesis has been to assess the effect of simple feet exercises along with the practice of pelvic floor activation and relaxation on women struggling with dysmenorrhea. Subsequently, it also deals with the issue of whether the pelvic floor treat- ment per rectum together with the exercises is more effective than just plain exercising. Methods: This research has been based on an experiment. This thesis includes both a the- oretical part and a practical part. The methods used for the practical part are as follows: questionnaire (specifically Menstrual Symptom Questionnaire), simple feet exercises, ex- ercises used for the activation and relaxation of the pelvic floor as well as the pelvic floor treatment per rectum and final processing of the gathered data into statistics. Results: The menstrual cycle of every woman is completely individual and every woman perceives it quite differently. The result of the research was that simple feet exercises along with the practice of pelvic floor activation, relaxation and the pelvic floor treatment per rectum help women struggling with dysmenorrhea. The main trends of healthy life style and their presentation in the media

The objective of my diploma work is to point out the main trends of the healthy lifestyle as well as to stress the factors having a negative impact on health. In particular, the work deals with well-balanced nutrition, exercising, sleep, lifestyle health risks, stress, civilisation disorders and the media which promote this healthy lifestyle. The research has been carried out under the use of the questionnaire method analysing the lifestyle of two separate groups of adolescents.
Creation and attestation stock book of floorball exercising useful for children at the age of 10 - 15 years

The task of this thesis is to create complex of floorball exercise. Then we verify these exercises in the form of two-month practise with experimental groups where players at the age of 10 - 15 are. On the basis of the tests (slalom, shooting, running we will compare experimental groups with control groups. We note down their measured values into charts and graphs. From these values and with a help of Wilcoxonov pair test we find out if there is a marked difference between the first and the second test measurement. After the total evaluation it came out, that there was modest change for better in experimental groups. Statically this two-months practise of exercises hasn´t been shown in measured values.
