The Evaluation of the Investment Project

The subject of the diploma thesis is the evaluation of a selected investment project of the company. The first part defines the theoretical basis, which describes the investments, financial analysis, investment evaluation methods, and risks, which form the basis for the processing of the analytical part. The second part deals with the basic financial analysis of the company in order to evaluate the financial condition of the company. Furthermore, the investment project itself is evaluated, where also risks are determined, from the perspective of cash flows and the implementation of the project. Finally, based on the performed analyses, the investment opportunity and its weaknesses are comprehensively evaluated, through which is recommended the implementation or rejection of the investment plan.
The small hydroelectric power station design

The thesis deals with comprehensive design of the small hydroelectric power station in the particular site. There is the site description in the first part followed by evaluation of the hydroenergetic capacity of the watercourse and description of the inlet building and piping. Building and machinery part of the turbine hall is described in the next part. The electric part of the power station is worked up to wider scope and includes hydroalternator, switchgears incl. power for self-consumption, electric protections, cabling, transformer substation and high voltage inlet line. There is a description of the control system in the next part and economical evaluation of the investment is at the end.

Business plan for the construction of a house for the elderly

The aim of the thesis is to create a business plan for the construction of a house for the elderly. The thesis consists of two sections, wherein the first one is dealing with the basic terms such as entrepreneurship and structure of a business plan. The second part of the thesis presents the specific business plan. This section describes in detail the intention of the plan and includes a thorough analysis of the surrounding environment. Subsequent marketing analyses forms the basis for creating the right marketing tools to reach clients. The following financial part forms an important basis for the evaluation of the investment into the presented business plan. The following part of the thesis consists of methods for assessing the return of the investment. In the final part of the Master´s thesis are mentioned project risks and there are also included possible measures to mitigate the intensity of their impact.
