The subject of this master thesis is analyzes of how small and medium companies work, describing the theoretical approach to business plan and its implementation into practice for future company providing services of "home cook". In the first part of this work the importance of small and medium companies is demonstrated, the entrepreneur is defined and theoretical knowledge of writing a business plan is described. In the second, practical, part is this theory applied into practice. In the end, the whole business concept feasibility is evaluated.

The aim of this diploma thesis was to compose the business plan for the new company which is going to start running the restaurant and to check whether this project is real and profitable. The teoretical part considers characteristics of successful entrepreneur and circumstances which needs his attention. The practical part contains the real business plan which is usable for a potential investor.

Theoretical part explains the position of internationalization among other developing processes of the World Economy. It also defines the category of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), describes the position of this segment in the Czech Republic and includes patterns of internationalization. Analytical part decomposes the decision-making process of suitable form of SME internationalization and analyses particular impacts of internationalization on firms. Practical part verifies and completes the analytical part by committing a structured interview with the CEO of W.A.G. mineral fuels, Inc.

Theoretical part of this final year thesis is focused on the small and medium enterprises area and possibilities of state support. Furthermore there are described particular parts of business plan and their functions indeed. The aim of this thesis was to compile functional strategic business plan for management of concrete enterprise KOVO Děčín. There were identified strengths and weaknesses of mentioned enterprise, evaluated current position on the market and proposed further steps.

The Business Plan of Solar Power Station

Within this thesis I elaborated a business project of a solar power station, which could be used both as a decision tool for realization or non-realization of this project in practice and as the documentation for an application for a bank loan. The thesis consists of two main parts: the theoretical and application part. The theoretical part describes the structure of the business project and the principles for its setup. The application part contains the real business project of the solar power station.

Podnikatelské prostředí, obchodní zvyklosti a kulturní specifika Austrálie

Práce charakterizuje Austrálii zejména z ekonomického hlediska se zaměřením na podnikatelské prostředí, k jehož zhodnocení byl využit výzkum Světové banky o podnikatelském prostředí. Ten porovnává relevantní údaje ze 155 zemí světa, pro účely práce je použito srovnání Austrálie se světovými regiony a z jednotlivých zemí s USA, Velkou Británií a Českou republikou. Jedna kapitola je věnována vzájemným obchodním vztahům Austrálie a České republiky a oblastem perspektivním pro české vývozce. Ve druhé části práce zaměřené na australské obyvatelstvo a kulturu a z nich plynoucích obchodních zvyklostí je stručně charakterizována současná australská společnost a její specifika a jsou uvedena doporučení týkající se obchodního jednání v Austrálii.
