Business Plan in Gastronomy

The subject of this master thesis is analyzes of how small and medium companies work, describing the theoretical approach to business plan and its implementation into practice for future company providing services of "home cook". In the first part of this work the importance of small and medium companies is demonstrated, the entrepreneur is defined and theoretical knowledge of writing a business plan is described. In the second, practical, part is this theory applied into practice. In the end, the whole business concept feasibility is evaluated.

The aim of this diploma thesis was to compose the business plan for the new company which is going to start running the restaurant and to check whether this project is real and profitable. The teoretical part considers characteristics of successful entrepreneur and circumstances which needs his attention. The practical part contains the real business plan which is usable for a potential investor.

Possibilities of Small and Medium Enterprises internationalization

Theoretical part explains the position of internationalization among other developing processes of the World Economy. It also defines the category of Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), describes the position of this segment in the Czech Republic and includes patterns of internationalization. Analytical part decomposes the decision-making process of suitable form of SME internationalization and analyses particular impacts of internationalization on firms. Practical part verifies and completes the analytical part by committing a structured interview with the CEO of W.A.G. mineral fuels, Inc.
