Issue of creating school curriculum

1 ABSTRACT: This bachelor's work covers the issue of creating school curriculum (SC). The theoretical part proceeds from the system of curriculum documents and methodology of creating SC. The next part of this work deals with analysis of seven different SC, specifically the part People and nature and Educational subject Chemistry and analysis of characteristics of Educational subject Chemistry. Sample of analysed schools consists of seven elementary schools. With connection to creating SC the next part focuses on articles that deal with this issue in specialist magazines and teachers' opinions about implementing SC into schools. It also includes dialogs with teachers that created SC for their schools. Advantages and disadvantages of implementing SC into schools emerge from these dialogues as well as valuable advices about creating the documents themselves. The conclusion of this work was creation SC for Educational subject Chemistry that is going to be used as a sample for teaching since school year 2014/2015.

In this bachelor thesis entitled "Educational Skills and Their Application in Practice" we are dealing with education of patient by nurse. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part describes the education in nursing, the characteristics of the participants in education, the role of nurse as educator, factors influencing education, communication in education, didactic principles of education, educational methods, educational goals, and educational process in nursing. The empirical part describes a questionnaire survey consisting of a questionnaire for nurses and a questionnaire for patients at the internal and surgical departments of the Motol University Hospital and Orlová Regional Hospital. The aim was the primary data collection and their subsequent analysis. Empirical part describes the methodology and organization of the survey, the characteristics of the survey sample and the analysis of the survey results. The survey results are graphically processed and the working hypothesis statistically processed. The results of the thesis confirm that education is consider to be important not only by nurses but also by patients who are aware of the importance of the educational process. The biggest obstacle during educational process for nurses is lack of time....

Vertification of proposed standards for physical education in school practice

Title: Verification of proposed standards for physical education in school practice Objectives: The main purpose of this thesis was to analyze knowledge, skills and level of physical abilities and attitudes of ninth grade elementary school pupils , according to the RVP ZV standards suggested for physical education. Methods: questionnaires were used to obtain data and they were analyzed afterwards Results: The results of the analysis does not correspond with the expectations that students have sufficient knowledge of activities and its influence on their health in the classes of physical education. According to the Physical education teachers, students' attitude towards physical education is rather negative. Pupils have insufficient general theoretical knowledge on this field and it would be useful to enforce (upcoming) standards into classes of physical education in the Czech republic. . Mediation as a Profession

OVERVIEW This study deals with the situation of mediation in the Czech Republic. Mediation began to develop as a modern field during the 1990s. With the adopting of Act No. 202/2012 Coll. on Mediation, partial definitions were give for what mediation is and for the conditions under which it can be provided. Nonetheless, the situation in mediation is still very complicated. The study therefore presents a unified overview of what mediation is, of the principles upon which it is based, and of how it is used in practice. It introduces the role of a mediator and of the demands that must be satisfied for the performance of mediation, and it describes how the professional standards and code of ethics for mediators are established. By comparing the profession of an attorney to that of a mediator on the basis of the identifying characteristics of an expert profession, it determines whether mediation is a separate profession or a method that is useful in other fields.

With the adoption of Act No. 202/2012 Coll. on Mediation, partial definitions were given of what mediation was and under what conditions it could be provided. Nonetheless, the situation in the field of mediation is still very complicated. The study therefore presents a summary overview of what mediation is, upon which principles it is based, and how mediation is used in practice. The study explains the role of a mediator, what requirements must be met for a person to become one and discusses limits set by professional standards and ethical code of mediation. By comparing the profession of an attorney to that of a mediator on the basis of identifying characteristics of the two professions, this study aims to determine, whether mediation is a separate profession or rather a method applicable also in other fields. The differences between the work and activities of a mediator and an attorney are illustrated on a divorce case.
