Proposal for Transformation of the Concept of Lifelong Learning at Brno University of Technology for Companies in the South Moravian Region

In response to the changing educational needs of practice, it is essential to adapt the range of educational courses offered to reflect these needs. The thesis focuses on the collection, analysis and research of data in order to identify the key needs and trends of employee training in companies in the South Moravian Region. The findings will then be used to identify and propose options for thematic focus and types of educational courses to reflect the requirements of practice. The main impulse for expanding the range of courses is one of the goals of the VUT strategic plan to create a concept of lifelong learning.
Education of seniors in modern technologies in Luka nad Jihlavou

This thesis focuses on the education of seniors in modern technologies in the Luka nad Jihlavou municipality. In today's digitalized society, it is essential for the older generation to navigate modern technologies, which contributes to their better social integration and independence. A digitally literate individual knows how to use these technologies correctly and is aware of the potential risks associated with them. The goal of this work is to create an educational course for seniors that meets all the criteria for educational course creation and to verify its effectiveness through a questionnaire survey conducted before and after the course implementation. The theoretical part defines key concepts related to the issues of aging, old age, specifics of senior education, digital technology, or the creation of an educational course. The practical part builds on the theoretical foundations of the thesis and focuses on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the educational course. It includes the methodology and analysis of feedback from participants, obtained through a questionnaire survey before and after completing the course. Educational Needs of Social Divisions' Workers on Municipalities in Former Česká Lípa District

The diploma thesis is focused on the matter of continuing education of social department workers in municipalities in former Česká Lípa district. Specifically, it looks at what the educational needs in this area, workers have. The theoretical part is focused on the terminology. Firstly, it devotes to the characteristic of the former Česká Lípa district from the perspective of social work performed by the workers of municipalities. It also discusses the continuing education of workers and training needs analysis. This part also describes the burnout syndrome that is related to a supervision which is also a part of this thesis. The practical part is focused on the social workers' needs of continuing education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out which of the skills and knowledge for workers are the most needed. In the research, there was used the methodology of quantitative analysis via halfstructured questionnaires and the following structured interviews in order to gain the necessary qualitative data. The partial goals are to find out if the willingness of workers to participate on continuing education has impact on the burnout syndrome, or how burnout syndrome is related to participation in the supervision.

Usage of social network in education

This Bachelor Thesis applies to the themed use of the selected social network Facebook within the classroom. The central part of the work is research on the use of closed networks of community groupsin teaching SSVOŠ in České Budejovice. The research discusses how to use Facebook to provide support for e-learning in the taught subject and how students perceive the reality. This thesis, among other things applies with other similar research and applications which have already been examined elsewhere in the world. It publishes the comprehensive overview of how to use Facebook for educational purposes.
