Parents options in reeducation of dyslalia in the pre-school children

Bachelor thesis is focused on parents, whose children suffer from dyslalie. First part of thesis summarises the wals, which can lead to reduction of dyslalia and also shows possibilities how to deal with this kind of disorganised communication abilities. It concers o.s. with searching for the rights logopedic office. In addition to gets acquanted parents with reeducation proces sof dyslalia and conditions important to be respected and focused on by parents. Second part investigates contentment with proces sof logopedic treatment by parents and possible reasons which may influenz dyslalia origin. This isme is enlightened, by speech therapists who clarify thein view of cooperation with parents, children and satisfaction with working conditions.
The Possibilities of Using Musical Activities for Children with Impaired Communication Ability in Kindergarten- in Speech Therapy Class

The bachelor thesis is concerned with communication disorders in preschool aged children and progress their perceptual and motor skills by musical activities. The main aim of the thesis is to create a collection of activities to support the children's skills. The partial aim is to try using the collection in practise during standard kindergarten's operation Theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with speech development, speech disorders, especially dyslalia and delayed speech development. The thesis is also aimed on specifics of preschool age, legislature of preschool education and education of children with special needs. The final chapter writes about musical field and principles of conducting musical activities in kindergarten. To achieve the set target, a qualitative research strategy was chosen. During three weeks of direct observation of preschool group, case studies of the children were created based on the results. The results were used for creating of collection of activities. The created collection was directly applied in practice. The work was evaluated by means of analysis of video recordings, while at the same time were accented its disadvantages and advantages. The collection of activities contains methodical structure, so it can be used in practice of teachers in kindergarten. The material could be appreciated by parents as well and used during practising their children's skills.
Aids in speech therapy of dyslalia

The diploma thesis called "Aids in speech therapy of dyslalia" consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is devoted to the general concept of logopedic intervention, dyslalia and all components of logopedic intervention in this impaired communication ability. There is also described the classification of speech aids according to various authors and some selected aids. Views on their use can be different even among the experts. These aids are also included to the practical part, which, through a questionnaire survey, examined the views of clinical logopedists on these aids and their use. Research provides an overview of the use of these aids in the practice of respondents and shows that their view on them varies in some areas. Nino Peterek, Ph.D., Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics Abstract: A goal of this thesis is to design, create and test speech validation method based on current speech recognition algorithms. Resulting software is a speech therapy application for sounds or words training with feedback about pronunciation accuracy. Speech validation is based on CMUSphinx tools and on inaccurate pronunciation generation (using phonetic dictionary). Records with accurate and inaccurate pronunciations has been collected for training and testing purposes. It has been shown, that this design is not appropriate. Thanks to the software design, application can be easily extended by techniques, that could improve validation efficiency. The Speech Prevention in the Kindergarten

This thesis follows up the theme of logopaedics prevention and development of communication abilities. It introduce problematic of the most common speech disorders, development of communication skills, diagnostic of impaired verbal communication and development of grafomotorics in preschool age. It introduces practical exercises and techniques of speech correction in the sphere of the methodology of the prevention of impaired verbal communication. In practical part it maps development of impaired verbal communication through the casuistry of several children in the connection with family influence and work of logopaedics assistant.
Therapeutic materials for adults with dyslalia

This master's thesis deals with the communication disorder dyslalia in adult's age. Firstly brings components of speech intervention, especially speech therapy. Secondly describes dyslalia, its etiology, classification, diagnosis and prevention. Mostly this thesis deals with dyslalia therapy and its adults specifics. It gives examples of usable therapeutic materials in the Czech Republic also abroad. Thesis also judges the situation of adult's therapeutic materials on the market. The main intention was to create a therapeutic material for adults with dyslalia diagnosis. It was created 100 worksheets for frequently disturbed Czech sounds (L, R, Ř, Č, Š, Ž, C, S, Z, ČŠŽ / CSZ). Sestem for removal of children speech defects

Speech is one of the basic forms of human communication and disruption of communication ability can negatively affect the life of man. deals with the elaboration of logopedic theory, which serves as a basis for the follow-up design and application creation in the field of speech therapy. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with the history of speech therapy with an emphasis on domestic logopaedia, the logopedic intervention process in its entirety, and the differentiation of individual types of impaired communication skills. The second chapter focuses on a specific disruption of communication skills - dyslalia.The application for the treatment of dyslalia is determined by the application, which is elaborated in the third chapter. The fourth chapter contains a detailed description of the designed and created application, including an explanation of the processes running in the application when the application is being used. The last chapter of this diploma thesis contains a summary of the results of the practical testing of the application together with suggestions for improvement of the application.
Innovative tool for removing bad pronunciation of the letter "R"

The purpose of this final thesis is to find out about Speech Therapy and to design a device which would help with oscillation of human tongue when the sound r is pronounced. To better understand this subject first part of this thesis takes interest in evolution and physiology of human speech. Next the most common articulation disorder Dyslalia is named and methods for treating Dyslalia are described. In practical part the device for Speech Therapy is designed and created. It is based on frequency of human tongue oscillations and it helps to correct difficulties with sound r articulation. This prototype uses electric motor which is controlled by Arduino platform. Its rotational motion is converted to linear through mechanical construction simulating crank mechanism.
