Title: Competitive Balance of the selected football leagues in Europe, their development and comparison. Goals: Determining the competitive balance in the six top European football competitions. This is a Czech Gambrinus liga, Dutch Eredivisie, German Bundesliga, Austrian Bundesliga, Ukrainian Premier liha Hungarian OTP liga, compare to competition and an outline of the development trend. Methods: The standard deviation of percentage wins, correlation coefficient, the presentation of results based on percentages, graphs, trends. Results: All results are presented in the analytical part of the work, verify predetermined hypotheses and are an important source of comparison for each event and outline trends. 1 Abstract Title: Dynamic competitive balance in European football leagues Objectives The quality of objective of this master thesis is the analysis of dynamic competitive balance of ten European football leagues. Namely the English league, the German league, the Dutch league, the Greek league, the Romanian league, the Czech league, the Danish league, the Polish league, the Cyprian league, the and the Bulgarian league and their comparison. Methods: Dynamic competitive balance showed by the Lorenz curve of the number of league champions during the period under review. Results: The results show comparison of dynamic competitive balance in top European leagues. Further refute or confirm the established assumption of same trend in the designated groups divided by market value and competitive format. Title: Competitive balance in European football leagues before and after the implementation of Financial Fair Play Objectives: The main objective of this bachelor thesis is a analysis of competitive balance in top 5 European football leagues. Specifically the English league, Spanish league, German league, French league and Italian league. Methods: Using the Lorenz curve of the amount of teams on top 3 league positions. The Lorenz curve is used in economics to measure income inequality in individual countries. In the sports environment, it is used to measure dynamic competitive balance, especially in the long period of time - during several seasons, when teams advance or relegate between competitions. This thesis deals with the 7 season time horizon before the introduction of Financial Fair Play and 7 seasons after the introduction of FFP. This method was used for the first time in the early 1990s. Results: The result of this thesis is a measurment of dynamic competitive balance of top 5 European football leagues before and after the implementation of Financial Fair Play. The biggest dynamic competitive balance had been measured in Bundesliga, the second biggest in Ligue 1, at the third position was Serie A, fourth was Premier League and last one was La Liga.
