E-customs´ systems and projects and their implementation in the Czech Customs administration

Diploma work called "E-customs'systems and projects and their implementation in the Customs administration of the Czech Republic" is intended to provide interested parties with an overview of systems, projects and key issues related to the evolution of the European electronic customs initiative and the present state of play especially in the Czech Customs administration. Subject of e-Customs is a collection of information customs systems and projects in order to exchange data and communicate between the customs and economic operators in a secure manner. Systems and project of e-Customs are set up in the individual parts of the present work with the stress of the link to legal, operational and technological instruments, both at Community and national level to allow for an efficient implementation of electronic customs systems. The work includes evaluation of the successfully launched and today stable transit and export systems and recommendation to accept measures leading to higher efficiency from the side of the Czech customs administration. The work is a sufficient information source of the e-Customs programme devoted not only to employees of the Czech Customs administration, but to all subjects related to customs procedures.

Import of goods to European Union with focus on seaborne container transport

The diploma thesis describes seaborne transport of goods in general, and furthermore specifies the current dilemma of existing cartels - conferences - in this industry. I also describe containerization, general situation on container transport market with a hint of latest information about this market. Next chapter describes legislative rules of European Union that shape import of goods to Union. As it was not possible to describe all of them, I concentrate only on those rules involving import of containers. The goal of researching EU import legislation was to familiriaze myself with all activities and information, which an importer must take care of and possess, before he gets in touch with a shipping carrier about the transport itself. I managed to mention the most basic and important points, which importers of goods must apply.

Práce analyzuje zvláštnosti obchodování a podnikání v současné Argentině. Bere v úvahu jak ekonomické, tak i kulturní hledisko. Z ekonomického hlediska se práce zaměřuje na nástroje obchodní politiky Argentiny a na aktuální vládní opatření, která mají základ v době měnové krize na přelomu let 2001-2002. Z kulturního hlediska zkoumá pracovní prostředí a styl vyjednávání Argentinců.

Term of delivery and its influence on pricing

Práce je zaměřena na jednu důležitou část kupní smlouvy - dodací podmínky podle INCOTERMS. Dělí se na dvě části, a to část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické je stručně charakterizována kupní smlouva a její náležitosti, Mezinárodní obchodní komora, pojištění dle INCOTERMS a charakteristika jednotlivých doložek. Praktická část vychází ze zkušeností se společností Ceco-legno. Nejprve jsou uvedeny obecné informace o firmě, dále je popsán průběh obchodní činnosti, nákup a prodej, a na závěr je grafické znázornění tří obchodních případů.
