Analysis of advisability of setting up a new bookshop in Rokycany

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to verify the advisability of setting up and operating a small bookshop in the town of Rokycany. The theoretical part deals with commerce, its functions and marketing in the area of retail procedure. The practical part, first of all, deals with the future of print version of books. Then the possible customer demand for a new bookshop is identified in Rokycany and its surroundings through the form of written questionnaire. Following the interpretation of answers given in the questionnaire, comes the proposal on how to put to use the information for the managing of the marketing mix of the possible bookshop. Next comes the analysis of competition, suppliers and verification of the price level of different books. The final part is financial and it confirms the advisability of prospectus, it also summarizes operating costs of the bookshop and it compares them with the real value of margin. Contribution of this bachelor thesis rests in the supporting documents, which can be used in reality for positive decision about this specific type of prospectus.

Honey Hive Product Offering

The topic of this Master's thesis is to define the product offering for start-up called Honey Hive and to describe the process supporting the product portfolio definition. Product portfolio definition is based on the theory of 4P (Marketing mix). The whole process of defining the product offering is based on 4P -- Price, Product, Promotion and Place. Each aspect brings its own view into product offering -- from defining the pricing strategy, through suppliers mix definition to the competition analysis. Honey Hive's day-to-day business is based on offering the honey and honey based products. It will be located within attractive environment of Cesky kras. Honey Hive intends to capitalize on regional tourism increase and modern trends of consuming local products.

Supply chain for the construction company

This graduation thesis occupies by logistics utilization in the construction company Baracom Inc. It tries to describe the areas of the civil engineering which the logistics can be used in. The emphasis is placed on the supply network and on the whole project management from the beginning to the customer delivery. The concrete apartment blocks development is analysed from the building land purchase to the complete constructions. What is desribed here is e.g. the selection of the suppliers, the creation and the adherence to the schedules... The supplier evaluation in the company and the flow of material at the construction were also analysed out. The advantages of the wooden constructions were presented. The effort was to explain the low-energy constructions´ benefits and their potential in the future.

Logistics in hospitals

To select the topic of my thesis I chose the area of purchasing and supply, which is becoming an important strategic factor in the current market conditions. The basic need and time requirement is to minimize the cost, the resulting increased competitiveness of products and services and thus the prosperity of the enterprise. In the thesis I have focused on the supply system for a specific hospital, where the aim was to propose streamlining logistics and reducing costs. In the practical part is an analysis of the existing system of logistic processes in the hospital. The outcome of this work is the proposal to introduce changes in the store, the introduction of a new electronic system, the introduction of barcode EAN and using the logistics system linking warehouse and sales department. As a promising solution also consider linking stock information system NEOS in the Constitutional hospital pharmacy. In this work, I propose an additional logistics solutions that will help you achieve savings in the hospital. This is the introduction of outsourcing services such as maintenance, cleaning and laundry. Hospitals should also seek to reduce the number of existing suppliers, I propose to establish a form of cooperation with major suppliers and through the conclusion of strategic alliances and agreed quantity discounts for the collection of material. Very positively appreciate the introduction of the system Just-in-time supply hospitals. Recommend accreditation to the ISO, thereby achieving the improvement of hospital services and competitiveness in the market.

The aim of this thesis is analysis of used methods of management of a material and information flow which are dependent on a production program and improvement.There were carried on analysis off lows and relations with suppliers and buyers. Next there were mentioned a relation between flows and logistic center.Evaluations and recommendations are included in all the chapters of the thesis.

Selection suppliers and operating resources in concern

This thesis focuses on two goals. One of them are business contacts with suppliers, the second is inventory management in the enterprise. Suppliers are very important for any business partner, without which it couldn`t produce, but its conditions differs in business and technical matter. It doesn{\crq}t have to be based only on the deppartment diferences or company size. Companies surveyed in this study were both productive and similary sized. What made the difference was, the used material and production complexity. The company Sapeli has possibility of higher standard offer and therefore even compoundable evaluation especially thanks to easier accessability . The most important for the company is quality, price, delivery terms and payment options. Both companies have in common the first place given to quality above all. It has increasing importance today as world markets are saturated with poor quality products and large companies can gain greater market share mainly due to the quality.

Analysis of accounting relations in company

The target of this bachelor´s work was analysis of accounting relations in specific company which works in the area of timber harvesting with harvestor technique. Another target of this work is to analyse active debts and liabilities. I focused on specific accounting of active debts for subscribers, engagements against suppliers, provided and received advance payments, accounting of exchange-rate difference and time resolution. Also I set up the vertical analysis of asset and debts.

The main goal of this thesis was to sum up the dilema of active debts and engagements from the view of suppliers and customers relationships and to bring closer accounting in a specific company which works on the field of producing and selling plastics products. In my thesis I focused on specific accountig of active debts for subscribers, engagements against suppliers, provided and recived advance payments, accounting of exchange rate difference and time resolution. I have also investigated individual accounts of account classification which is connected with specific dilema and differences from the standard accountig.

Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat nákupní logistiku a systém zpracování objednávek nákupu ve výrobním podniku. V textu jsou rozebrány různé metody nákupu, které podnik uplatňuje při pořizování vstupů pro výrobu. Jsou zkoumány možnosti aplikace moderních logistických technologií založených na plynulém materiálovém toku. Pozornost je zaměřena na úlohu podnikového informačního systému v procesu nakupování. V textu jsou rozebrány jednotlivé kroky procesu nakupování. Podrobně se text zabývá zpracováním objednávek nákupu v podnikovém informačním systému.
