KYSELOVÁ, Jitka
Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses and ethical questions of blood transfusion The refusing of blood transfusion is a one point of the doctrine of Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses. Deprecation like this can endanger patient´s life and opens many ethic questions and dilemmas. The main goal of this thesis is a survey of blood transfusion problems and comparison of different views of current and ex members of Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses and doctors. This thesis was elaborated with using qualitative research methods {--} with using questionnaires. The first research group was built from current and ex members of Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses. The second one was generated from doctors from chosen departments. Gaining data was very difficult because the members of Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses aren´t willing to give information about this question. From research work result that not all current members of Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses refuse blood transfusion. The members that left religious comunity mostly don´t agree with blood transfusion refusing. Major part of doctors prefers saving life and health to complying with patient´s resolution. Respecting of patient´s resolution is bigger in non life-threatening situations and mainly when doctors are churchgoers. From research work also result doctor´s non-uniform attitude to blood transfusion serving in case that pacient {--} a member of Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses {--} is inconscious and in life-threatening situation and has a legal document that should guarantee not serving blood transfusion. The Religious community Jehovah´s Witnesses is certified religion in Czech Republic and we should respect their rights of religion {--} even if we don´t agree with their doctrina. It is important to find a good solution when doctors and patients have different opinion.

HEJDOVÁ, Eva
Every profession has some responsibility. Some skills that are not circumscribed by law, subject to the so-called ethical code. The most famous areas, subject to the Ethics Code, it is medicine. In the theoretical part of this work will define the scientific literature on the concept of a code of ethics, and I will continue to pursue professions that are subject to the Code of Ethics. I would like to compare the function of the code of ethics in the past and now. I would like to focus on the ethical code of teachers, social workers, nurses and doctors, police and / or. journalists. The practical part will try to find out whether the profession, which I described in the theoretical part, really manages ethical codes. For the preparation of his thesis will use the first method of comparison, compare the history with the present. Then we analyze the information obtained from interviews conducted with a representative of one of those professions.
Present information level of parents concerning the vaccination possibilities
ZEMAN, Jaroslav
Questions arise nowadays, whether vaccination is needless or whether there are other forms of prevention that could replace mandatory vaccination. At the same time, people undergo vaccination out of obligation and do not seek further information. On the other hand, public awareness on vaccination is rising thanks to well-known vaccination against {\dots} or {\dots} This bachelor thesis on general awareness of vaccination describes present situation in České Budějovice and Litvinovice with emphasis on mothers aged 20 to 50. Quantitative analysis served as the research method with questionnaires used as the data-collection technique. Questionnaires were placed in offices of practitioners, local Hygiene station, local municipalities and in kindergartens. The objective was to ascertain the level of awareness of vaccination in the country and in a city, namely in Litvínovice and in České Budějovice, respectively. Differences between the country and a city as well as effect of education were studied, too. My research confirmed the hypothesis of people in the country refuse to get a vaccination less frequently and do not seek to make vaccination optional, whereas people who live in cities disapprove of vaccination more often and stand out for abolition of mandatory vaccination more often. Furthermore, mothers with higher education tend to seek alternatives to vaccination as for prevention. This thesis proved that mothers are often poorly informed or their knowledge on this topic is incomplete. Parents are not aware of possibilities of financing vaccination by public health insurance. I would recommend more information brochures and more detailed coverage of this topic in media. This thesis will be directly used by medical personnel in terms of creating an information leaflet, which would answer questions raised by my research, and by public health insurance companies, who will be made improve their information and education policy on vaccination refunds .
Commercial Communication in Czech Pharmaceutical Industry
Kadlecová, Barbora ; Mikeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Hrubá, Kamila (referee)
Thesis titled Commercial communications in czech pharmaceutical industry is about how to use marketing communication tools (advertising, public relations, sales promotion, personal selling, etc.) in the pharmaceutical industry. A specific feature of pharmaceutical marketing is separate communication to public (patients) and to professionals (doctors) which requires using different communication messages and also different channels to each target group. Pharmaceutical marketing is regulated by advertising law, by the Council for Radio and TV Broadcasting and by the provisions of the State Institute for Drug Control which control the ways how two target groups are addressed. Possible marketing tools are described from both theoretical (legal) and also practical (marketing communication of specific pharmaceutical company) terms.
Prevalence of smoking in general practitioners and teachers at primary schools in České Budějovice.
STRNADOVÁ, Monika
The objective of my thesis was to determine the prevalence of smoking in a selected group of general practitioners and primary school teachers in České Budějovice. I also wanted to emphasize the important role of physicians and teachers in smoking prevention. Therefore I focused on finding out what preventive activities are used in their professions to reduce smoking. To achieve the goal the interview technique for quantitative research was used. The results of the research show that prevalence of smoking among doctors and teachers is lower than in general population. It is 16 % among general practitioners and 14 % among teachers. In general population the prevalence reaches 30 %. But smoking prevalence among general practitioners for children and adolescents is the same as smoking prevalence in general population. The results of the research indicate the fact that teachers set a better example for their social surroundings than physicians. Physicians, on the contrary, use more preventive activities, provide information about possibilities of quitting smoking support and cooperate with institutions dealing with prevention and quitting smoking. The views of teachers (doctors) smokers and non-smokers on prevention administration are different. Lifelong non-smokers are most concerned in smoking reduction, former smokers take a lesser share and current smokers bring the least contribution to smoking reduction.
