Richtrová, Michaela ; Holubářová, Jiřina (advisor) ; Hulvová, Petra (referee)
Title: Case report of a patient after fracture of the distal radius Author: Michaela Richtrová Aim: A comprehensive view on the issue of distal radius fractures, a summary of theoretical and practical knowledge, the design therapy and monitoring therapeutic outcomes - rehabilitation plan for a patient with fractures of the distal radius. Methods: This work was a search of case studies in the professional practice held from January 24, 2011 to February 18, 2011 at Malvazinky Rehabilitation Clinic in Prague. The work is divided into two parts, general and special. General section summarizes the theoretical knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology forearm, hand and wrist, upper extremity trauma - a description of fractures and their healing, diagnosis and treatment. Based on this general knowledge is also dedicated to the classification of fractures of the distal radius, their clinical symptoms, conservative and surgical approaches and a description of rehabilitation treatment options. A special section is devoted to case report of a patient after distal radius fracture, the rehabilitation, the results and effects of therapy. Key words: wrist fractures, distal radius, physiotherapy
The casuistry of care for a patient with a Colles fracture
Zahrádková, Michaela ; Novotná, Irena (advisor) ; Dudová, Vendula (referee)
Title: The casuistry of care for a patient with a Colles fracture Objectives: The purpose of my bachelor's thesis is to get to know the issues related to a Colles fracture and the patient's casuistry. Methods: The work is split into two parts: the theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical part I am describing the anatomy, kinesiology, classification of fractures and listing information about the Colles fracture and its treatment and rehabilitation. The practical part contains a casuistry of a patient with a Colles fracture. It involves an input kinesiology analysis, therapeutic lessons, an output kinesiology analysis and ends with an evaluation of the therapy effect. Keywords: fracture, distal radius, casuistry, physiotherapy
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after Colles fracture of the left.
Štokrová, Lenka ; Žáková, Hana (advisor) ; Slezáková, Petra (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after Colles fracture of the left. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to summarize theoretical and practical knowledge regarding fracture of distal radius, create case study and record of rehabilitation care of patient with Colles' fracture. Method: This thesis has been made during a continuous work experience in a Movement Apparatus Treatment Center in Prague, Vysočany. This thesis is divided into two parts, the general part and a detailed case report. The general part summarizes theoretical knowledge including anatomy, kinesiology, traumatology and therapy following fractures of a distal radius. The detailed case report is describing a patient after Colles' fracture that has been treated conservatively. Key words: Colles fracture, wrist fractures, distal radius, physiotherapy.
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of condition after distal radius fracture
Hrůzová, Eliška ; Martínek, Milan (advisor) ; Horáková, Alena (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with a diagnosis of condition after distal radius fracture Objectives: The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to present the issue of distal radio fractures, based on the available literature and the elaboration of a case report, which describes the course of therapy of a patient after a distal radio fracture. Methods: The work consists of two parts. The general part describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the forearm and the hand. It contains the classification of fractures according to AO, diagnosis, and healing of fractures, as well as possible procedures for fracture therapy. Attention is then specifically focused on fractures of the distal radius, their classification, and the possibilities of physiotherapeutic care for the condition after. The second part contains a case report of physiotherapeutic care for a patient diagnosed with condition after a distal radius fracture, compiled at the MediCentrum in Prague in January 2021. The report provides the input and the output of kinesiological examination, a description of the course of individual therapies and the evaluation of the therapy. Results: During the therapy, the patient's condition improved in the following areas: reduction of swelling and pain, extension of joints, elimination...
Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after fracture of the distal radius and acetabulum
Svobodová, Zuzana ; Stupková, Michaela (advisor) ; Slezáková, Petra (referee)
Autor: Zuzana Svobodová Název: Case study of physiotherapy treatment of a pacient after fracture of the distal radius and acetabulum Vedoucí práce: Mgr. Michaela Stupková Cíl: The aim of this bachelor thesis a summary of general knowledge about the issue of fracture of the distal part of the radius and fracture of the acetabulum. In the practical part, a detailed case report of the patient is elaborated and the subsequent rehabilitation care is described together with the results of the therapy. Metody: The bachelor thesis was written within the practice at the Department of Aftercare and Rehabilitation in the Havlíčkův Brod Hospital. The general part describes the anatomy, biomechanics and kinesiology of the forearms and acetabulum, along with the classification of fractures and rehabilitation procedures. In a special part of the bachelor thesis, a case report of a patient after polytrauma is processed, focusing mainly on the rehabilitation of the upper limb. Výsledky: The patient completed nine therapeutic units during the hospitalization, during which there was a significant improvement in range of motion, reduction of swelling and reduction of pain. The patient also reported subjective improvement in his mental health. Klíčová slova: Fractures, distal radius, acetabulum, polytrauma, rehabilitation
Physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after distal radius fracture: a case study
Pavlovič, Ondřej ; Vomáčková, Helena (advisor) ; Mahr, Edwin (referee)
Author: Mgr. Ondřej Pavlovič Title:Physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after distal radius fracture: a case study Objectives: The objective of the theoretical part is to summarize general theoretical backgroud regarding distal radius fractures (DRF), objective of the special part is to present a case study describing physioterapeutic treatment of a patient after DRF. Methods: This thesis is divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, general principles of DRF are described, including anatomic and kinesiologic relatioships, etiology and epidemiology of fractures and their respective classifications, commonly used diagnostic methods and therapeutic possibilities. Second, special part is a case study of a patient after DRF. It includes initial and final examination, description of all therapeutical units and final evaluation of its therapeutical effect. Results: Patient's condition improved, with significant reduction of pain and swelling. There was notable improvement in range of motion and also positive influence on associated soft tissue changes and muscle imbalances of injured arm. Results were both noted subjectively by the patient and measured objectively through examination. Conclusion: Objectives of this thesis were met. Keywords: Fracture, distal radius, DRF, trauma, injury,...
