The simulation of biometric protection systems working on the face recognition principle
Dubský, Milan ; Rampl, Ivan (referee) ; Atassi, Hicham (advisor)
The aim of this work is to realize a system in the Matlab-Simulink environment, which will be able to detect and recognize the human face from the input image. The created model will actually simulate the biometric security systems working on the principle of face recognition. The work is divided into two parts. In the first part, several methods for face detection from image are described. We focused on the symptomatic oriented and color segmentation methods. The pattern matching method is also described and implemented; the advantage ofthe pattern matching that it can be used either for face detection or face recognition. The second part of this work contains a description of the face recognition. Where PCA (Principal Component Analysis) are used for this task, this part of the work also includes experimental results of tests performed on our methods.
Detection of Wanted People in Video
Bažout, David ; Musil, Petr (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a software tool for searching of wanted people in video recordings from surveillance cameras. Wanted people are identified to the system using multiple facial photos. The output consists of information on the occurrence of wanted persons in specific frames. The problem consists of face detection and its subsequent identification task. Experiments with existing approaches on appropriate datasets provide relevant comparisons of method performance under different conditions. Appropriate methods and their optimal settings for this particular task are chosen according to the results of the experiments. The thesis also deals with the design of suitable architecture, research of existing libraries implementing the tested methods and other ways of optimizing the calculation. The result is the implementation of a user application that meets the specified parameters. The application's functionality has been tested on the own dataset simulating real-world conditions.
Masked face recognition
Kašpar, Jan ; Kříž, Petr (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the recognition of people with covered faces. The work describes four algorithms InsightFace, FaceNet, OpenFace, and face recognition. From these algorithms, the most suitable for recognizing people with a covered face is selected. Two databases of persons are created, and two models for the recognition of persons are trained; one is for the recognition of persons with a covered face and the other for non-covered persons. ROC curves are created for these models to determine the accuracy of the models. The created program is used to recognize people or to add them to the database created by SQLite.

Monitorovací systém laboratória založený na detekcii tváre
Gvizd, Peter
In the last decades there has been such a fundamental development in the technologies including technologies focusing on face detection and identification supported by computer vision. Algorithm optimization has reached the point, when face detection is possible on mobile devices. At the outset, this work analy-ses common used algorithms for face detection and identification, for instance Haar features, LBP, EigenFaces and FisherFaces. Moreover, this work focuses on more up-to-date approaches of this topic, such as convolutional neural networks, or FaceNet from Google. The goal of this work is a design and its subsequent im-plementation of an automated, monitoring system designated for a lab, which is based on aforementioned algorithms. Within the design of the monitoring system, algorithms are compared with each other and their success rate and possible ap-plication in the final solution is evaluated.
Masked face detection
Malý, Ondřej ; Kříž, Petr (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to study and test current methods for face detection on veiled faces and evaluate the results. In the first chapter, five selected methods are theoretically analyzed and in the second chapter the individual methods are evaluated, both for the Wider Face file and for the actual set of photos with veiled faces. Subsequently, the Dlib CNN method is improved for better detection of veiled faces and reprogrammed to detect the degree of veil from the tested image
Design and Implementation of a Family Photo Management Web Application
Macháč, Jan ; Kindlová, Dita (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the design and development of a web application that offers help in managing family photographic material, with the emphasis on data integrity and security, and maximum transparency when handling personal information. The application will be usable on any device with a screen, web browser and internet connection. One of its key features will be face detection on uploaded photographs.

Mobile application for automatic face detection and recognition
Stejskalová, Kristina ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Hesko, Branislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis aims to implement face detection and face recognition method in Java and creating an Android application for face detection and recognition. Methods generally used for face detection and recognition are described in theoretical part. Chosen methods for face detection and face recognition are implemented and then used for building mobile application.
Face-Swap Camera for Android
Škorňok, Petr ; Páldy, Alexander (referee) ; Szentandrási, István (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to explore existing possibilities of face detection on mobile devices supporting operating system Android and based on these findings create a face swap application with the input from the camera. The overall application is designed with an effort to reach the highest speed possible while processing the images. Implementation is tested from the view of the user and also from the point of program's speed and functionality.
