Open source PBX security against attacks
Orsák, David ; Daněček, Vít (referee) ; Šilhavý, Pavel (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with open source PBX security against security attacks. In the theoretical part is detailed description of problematic about attacks that could be used on VoIP systems with high focus on the Denial of Service attack. Furthermore are in theoretical part described methods of security of initialization protocol SIP. Individual chapter is devoted to intrusion detection and prevention of IDS and IPS systems, focusing on Snort and OSSEC. In the practical part of the work was created generator of attacks against various PBX systems, which was subsequently used for detailed testing. Special tests of PBX system are then used against DoS attacks, for which was created protection in form of active elements consisting of IDS Snort & OSSEC. These are capable to provide protection in real-time. The protection was tested on particular PBX systems and in matter of comparison were measured possibilities before and after of security implementation. The output of this work is attacks generator VoIPtester and creation of configuration rules for Snort and OSSEC.
Contemporary possibilities of atmosphere lightning detection
Nettl, Tomáš ; Žák, Michal (advisor) ; Pišoft, Petr (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to make a survey about posibilities of detection atmosferic discharges, describe their principles and properties. The other aim of thesis is comparing the systems CELDN and LINET. These two systems cover the area of Czech Republic. The first part of this work concerns of basic characteristic of flashes and electric properties of the atmosphere. The basic model of air discharges distribution in a storm and an electric field around is mentioned. Then the thesis describes the basic flash detection systems and the methods of detection. The end of the work describes systems covering Czech Republic - CELDN and LINET. Also basic characteristics of these systems derived from real data are discussed.

Detection of Signal Electrons in High Pressure Conditions in Environmental Scanning Electron Microscopy
Neděla, Vilém ; Jirák, Josef (advisor)
The thesis deals with the study of properties of a new system for detection of true secondary and backscattered electrons in high pressure conditions of the specimen chamber of a newly built environmental scanning electron microscope AQUASEM II. Detection system contains three detectors. For the first time is introduced and analyzed the working principle of ionisation detector with electrostatic separator, which is in many experiments compared with ionisation detector of secondary electrons. Experimentally demonstrated are unique properties of this detection system, especially the ability of energy separation of detected signal electrons. For the various working conditions are also analyzed signal levels detected by the BSE YAG detector, which is designed as a part of the new detection system and which worked together with both ionisation detectors.
