Analysis of CzechTourism foreign offices and their contribution to the tourism industry of the Czech Republic

The aim of the diploma thesis is to evaluate the activities of the foreign offices of the CzechTourism agency in promoting the Czech Republic as an ideal tourist destination in foreign markets. The thesis defines the tourist destination and it´s management, the national tourist organizations and the marketing activities and communication tools used by the foreign offices. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the analysis of the incoming tourism and it´s positive impact on the national economy.
Analysis of destination management in the Ostrava region

The diploma thesis Analysis of destination management in the Ostrava region is about relations between the Ostrava tourist region and tourism itself. Formerly-by-tourism-untouched region has experienced development of the tourism industry and this fact has lead to a need of an effective tourist destination management approach. The destination marketing and management is not done by one superior institution but it is performed by many subjects. The most important ones are the Ostrava city and the Moravian-Silesian Region. The thesis analyzes their planned and realized projects and destination products. The end is dedicated to a suggestion of a new destination product - the Ostrava tourist card.
Analysis of tourism in Olomouc

This bachelor thesis focuses on tourism analysis in Olomouc city. The aims are to analyze current state of tourism in Olomouc, to review current tourism supply in the destination and to assess possible ways for further development of tourism in Olomouc. The first chapter contains mainly definitions from destination marketing and management and organizations that deal with this sphere. Practical part includes basic information about Olomouc, its attractivities and infrastructure, it describes visit rate of accommodation facilities and some tourist attractivities and also gives overview of offered tourism products. Conclusion contains the SWOT analysis, which summarizes all partial analyses, and presumptions for further tourism development in the city.
