Modeling the movement of people when organizing mass cultural events
Zelinka, Martin ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with the movement of people in the event of mass events where a large number of people accumulate and thus the risks associated with problematic of so-called soft target. The study deals with the movement of people, taking into account the behavior of visitors, as well as the influence of individuals, couples or groups, as well as the possible movement of evacuated following a critical event. As the target of the analysis is the International Folklore Festival in Červený Kostelec. The aim of the work is to optimize the layout of the festival venue, adjacent areas and accompanying events in its surroundings so as to ensure maximum safety for the participants and eliminate crowd phenomena under different scenarios. The numerical model of the festival with the wider environment created by the Pathfinder software tool will serve as a basis for optimizing the solution.
Prediction of Exchange Rate Movements on Forex
Balog, Miroslav ; Menšík, Jakub (referee) ; Budík, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the possibility of prediction of the exchange rate on forex. The combination of Elliott wave principle and Fibonacci numbers examines to what extent and in what time periods it is possible to predict exchange rate. The thesis use fundamental analysis and MACD oscillator to confirm the accuracy of this prediction.
Modeling the movement of people when organizing mass cultural events
Nikolov, Daniel ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
One of the medium-sized festivals held annually in the Czech republic – Vizovické Trnkobraní. The bachelor thesis deals with modeling the movement of people during this cultural event. To better understand the issue, different scenarios have been created and subsequently compared. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to decipher the crisis spots of the festival from the point of view of pedestrian traffic and subsequently to determine effective steps leading to their optimization. Furthermore, it emphasizes the minimum requirements of the basic soft target protection system when organizing mass cultural events. Last but not least, bringing the model to the general public.
Modeling the movement of people in the urban environment
Šenovská, Eliška ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the assessment of the possibility of placing outdoor sitting on Masaryk Street so that the movement in this pedestrian zone is not adversely affected. The aim of the thesis is to compare several variant scenarios, which are based on the current state of the street and the subsequent addition of the influence of traffic, pedestrian flow and various geometric arrangements. In conclusion, it is determined which restaurant companies would be able to add the outdoor sitting to the Masaryk Street.
Modeling the movement of people when organizing festival events
Žalská, Kateřina ; Uhlík, Ondřej (referee) ; Okřinová, Petra (advisor)
The thesis deals with modeling the movement of people during the music festival Hradecký Majáles. This mass event is very popular in Hradec Králové, and its attendance reaches 17 thousand people. The thesis is focused on optimalization of the normal operation of the event, prediction of possible obstacles and possible danger. For analysis a few verification scenarios are created, including the scenario involving the emergence of danger and following simulation of evacuation of people. Within the analysis the key variables such as density, evacuation time and LoS. The critical places where people could get hurt, are selected. The new security precautions or optimization of site geometry optimizations are suggested for these places. In the conclusion of the 3 thesis is performed efficiency evaluation of the suggested changes resulting from the performed analysis.
