HŮLOVÁ, Marie
This diploma thesis focuses on voice training of pupils in the first grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses music and voice education, specifics and particulars of children's voices. The major part is devoted directly to specific skills that form the base of a correct singing technique. This part of the thesis also includes a short summary of the mechanics of voice formation that every teacher should know. The goal of the practical part of the thesis is to assemble a collection of exercises focused on breathing, voice and articulation issues of children. The collection should help especially the beginner music teachers to find various types of exercise and implement them in practice. All the listed exercises could become an inseparable part of music education at the elementary school.

Based on the selected criteria, we present a sand repertoire compiled according to the course of the school year. For each selected song we present the introductory motivation, suggestions for talking about the song, training vocal exercises, recommended method of its rehearsal, dance rendition and instrumental accompaniment. For these songs, the reader will also find possibilities of inter-subject connection, for example with art education, drama education of homeland science or natural science. Some of the submitted initiatives partly meet cross-cutting topics, namely multicultural and environmental education. From the proposed activities we compiled models of teaching hours with a focus on song rehearsal, through...
