The thesis examines differences in construction of children's bikes, describes relationship between a child and a bicycle, messures size of children's bikes and characterizes the procedure during an analysis of bike accidents. Internal parts of the thesis are statistical data from accident frequency and summarizing of actual state of understanding of following problems in this age category. The main purpose of this thesis is to make an analysis of speed for individual age categories and make an evaluation of results. This measurement will be completed by a measure of achievable brake deceleration of riders in age between 10 and 15 years. The purpose of this final thesis is an expansion of data for a forensic expertise in area of Traffic.
Analysis of the Speed of Cyclists Aged from 4 to 10 Years
Skanderová, Valentýna ; Semela, Marek (referee) ; Bradáč, Albert (advisor)
The diploma thesis Cyclists speed analysis at the age bracket of 4 to 10 deals with history and origin of bicycle, description and types of the contruction of bicycles for children at the age bracket mentioned above. The thesis includes the statistics of accidents involving cyclists and regulations providing for the ride on a bicycle on a carriageway. The practical part includes measuring cyclists speed when passing a measured section and the analysis of these data. The analysis of data is processed in terms of gear systems as the equipment. Complementary measuring was made in a slight rising. In the second part of the practical part is measured braking of cyclists at a particular age bracket and the evaluation of their deceleration. The conclusion includes comparison with measuring of other authors made so far.
Bicycle trail via VD Nové Mlýny along the I / 52 road
Kuric, Filip ; Nykodym, Jakub (referee) ; Kosňovský, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the transfer of cyclists through the dam of Nové Mlýny. The design runs alongside the dam, outside the existing I/52 road, as a preparation for the D52 motorway. The thesis solves the design of longitudinal alignment and vertical alignment of the cycle path along the I/52 road, connection of the cycle path to the adjacent network of cycling routes and variants of crossing cycle path 5174 with route I/52 due to an increase of safety.
Analysis of Selected Manoeuvres of Bicyclists
Doseděl, Jan ; Ptáček, Petr (referee) ; Semela, Marek (advisor)
Master thesis titled “Analysis of selected manoeuvres of bicyclists” in the first part deals with the history of bicycles, construction, division of bicycles and introduces–traffic accidents of cyclists and national legislation. Practical measurements with bicyclists is in the second part of this thesis. Cyclists performed deceleration on three surfaces, acceleration and a manoeuver, in which cyclist looked behind himself before changing the direction. The evaluation of all measurements and comparison with other similar works has been made in the last chapters.
