The specifics of catering for cultural and sports events

The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the sports arena as the place where cultural and sports events are being held from the catering services provided point of view. This place is untypical compared to conventional food outlets not only because of the space itself, but also the customer service, preparing and serving range of products. In one building there are stalls with fast food, but also a buffet with unlimited consumption. The theoretical part is devoted to the basic concepts of the catering industry, especially in the field of catering and fast food restaurants. The practical part is focused on the identification of a selected company throughout its history, layout and catering services it offers to its clients. In the final chapter the sports and cultural events are analyzed and compared between each other, especially from the range of products consumed point of view.
