Information System Proposal

Because of a growing number of services offered by the Masaryk University to its students, and because of the ever-changing legislation of the Czech Republic, a need for an implementation of a new information system, capable of processing payments for university’s services, has arisen. The goal of this thesis is to analyse the current condition of payments at the university, consider users’ demands, choose an appropriate information system and project its implementation. It is utterly necessary to keep the costs of implementation at acceptable levels and above all the system must be able to be operated without the need for new employees. The proposed system must be universal because of various natures of services offered and goods sold, as well as it must be efficient. It is required that the system will be able to handle the growth of both number of clients and provided services.

Design of an Information System Implementation in the Shared Service Centre

Bachelor thesis deals with the design of implementation of a new information system to the company Dixons Retail SSC, s.r.o.. Firstly an analysis of the current state of the process of credit note handling is made. This process is a supportive process for the whole AP cycle process of the company. The analysis focuses mainly on the description of systems used for credit note handling and the links between them. The design of implementation is focused on the module Invoice Cockpit and its main functions. Afterwards a recommendation of the procedure of conversing data from old systems to new is made and new dialog windows are designed. In the conclusion recommendations of processes, which should follow up a successful implementation of information system are made.

This bachelor´s thesis deals with evaluation of marketing mix of company Voženílek pracovní ochranné pomůcky, s.r.o. and also comes with suggestion for its improvement. Theoretical part explains basic concepts which are related to this questions and problems, analytics part introduces Voženílek pracovní ochranné pomůcky company, its business situation and especially its marketing mix to reader. Proposal part deals with concrete suggestions to improvements which were created with support of employees and one of head executives of this company Mr. Mgr. Tomáš Voženílek and also on the base of marketing research among customers.
