This thesis is focused on the analysis of job duties leading mobile operator selected stores. Based on the analysis are proposed changes to those obligations in order to unify the concept of performance management stores and eliminate the difference in the performance of individual managers. In the thesis was to create a solution to increase the effectiveness of store Manager and improve performance stores including calculations of incurred costs and revenues.

The Bachelor thesis focuses on cost management in an energy company Adavak, s.r.o. Thesis is composed of theoretical and analytical part and of the proposals of the thesis. The theoretical part explains basic concepts and analyses, which are further used in the thesis. The analytical part describes the company and the calculation method and system for the production and sale of thermal energy. Final part of the thesis is focused on the proposals of the thesis, which are based on the analytical part and cost modelling. This part addresses planned increase in the volume of thermal energy sales, and its effects on price and costs.

Analysis of costs, their showing - accounting and financial view

The main aim of this thesis was to evaluate the structure, development of individual cost calculation and processing of the output selected. Theoretical part defines the costs as inputs to economic activity. This paper is further focused on the methodology of reporting costs in financial statements. Reporting of costs is dealt with under Czech accounting legislation and international accounting standards IFRS / IAS. Costs are further characterized on the basis of calculations and analyzed within the financial analysis methods, which are trend analysis, analysis of structures, analysis of the profitability and productivity. In Specific performance and cost calculation was chosen for another part of this paper and the calculation of costs was accomplished These methods have been used in specific conditions of GRENA company, which is engaged in the manufacture of fire, refractory plates and kitchen doors. In the practical part, it was founded that the cost-benefit ratio in companies selected is high. The company should focus on reducing costs and trying to maximize its relatively low profit.

Costing system and its information support

The presented diploma thesis deals with calculation as the main tool used to manage company's value chain with emphasis on use in costing system. First chapters of the thesis define basic terms, principles and costing methods. After company's introduction in the opening of the analytic part of the thesis, actions managers undertake and techniques they use to control costs will be reviewed. Further, a cost analysis throughout the value chain will be performed. The performed systems analysis will result in formulation of conclusions and recommendations. The aim of the thesis is to build a desirable structure of management information system generating financial as well as other types of information that will assist managers in controlling the production process, achieving different purposes and making qualified decisions. First, I will suggest approach changes, suitable steps and measures that will restructure the information system so that it will provide managers with adequate information about costs throughout the value chain. Further, I will recommend appropriate costing techniques and other management tools that will help to improve the quality of cost management. It will also contribute to build up the financial strength and competitive advantage of the company in long term. The content of the analytic part is not public because access to sensitive and confidential information might adversely affect the company's business.
